Would definitely stay here again! The location is easy walking distance to everything, but it’s also quiet. The staff were super helpful, friendly & always smiling. Shops & Edinburgh Castle plus many many restaurants within a 5-10 min walk. Loved the decor too! So fun & colorful & bed was really comfy.

Amazing location. Less than 5 minute walk to Waverley. Perfect spot to base yourself for the fringe as so central! Hotel is brand new and thoughtfully designed. Immaculately clean throughout. All staff friendly and welcoming. Room not massive so probably wouldn’t stay more than a few nights but so cosy and well appointed. Will definitely stay again!

NYX Edinburgh is amazing! We ended up having to book last minute, after our original booking at a different hotel turned out to be a really bad place. Being unsure where to go or what to do, we found NYX and couldn't be happier about it. The location is perfect, you're a two minute walk from the Royal Mile, and literally down the street from the main train station. The staff helped get our bags to our room, and were also more than willing to suggest places to go, and in what order to do them, to best utilize our time. The air conditioning was welcome, as not everywhere in England or Scotland has AC, and the value for the money was worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t end up staying at the nyx as the hotel was still under construction, but we were automatically moved to the Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh, which was a lovely hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in booking a transfer to the hotel for an early flight out and the hotel was close to many sights in Edinburgh.

I did not in fact stay at Nyx, but the Leonardo next door. Nyx had not yet opened and no one told me or notified me I would in fact be staying at a different hotel. We came earlier, but had we arrived later on I would probably not have accidentally met some of the future staff at Nyx to find out the situation. They didn’t seem to care at all about this and just nonchalantly said sorry. The Leonardo however was lovely and I really recommend! Friendly and helpful staff, clean, safe and modern.

We were greeted by really friendly and helpful staff and were able to check into our room earlier than expected. The location of the hotel was really convenient for visiting all the major sights. The hotel hadn’t opened. We hadn’t been notified of the delay. If we hadn’t arrived on the Friday we wouldn’t have known where to go as there weren’t any staff in over the weekend
