Beautiful old Victorian manor house, converted to a hotel ages ago. Excellent room and mordern bathroom. Plenty of free parking. Everything was well maintained. Perfect location for golfers and those exploring the west coast of Scotland. Great restaurant and bar. Lots of interesting choices for dinner. Breakfast was a combination of buffet and table ordering. Staff members were friendly and most helpful.

A beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff. Food in the restaurant was delicious and presented beautifully Our room was lovely, if a bit small. Unfortunately, we were cold as the weather had turned damp and windy, and the room felt damp. So for our one night stay we didn’t sleep well. Perhaps, in future, a small amount of heat to air the room and bed prior to a stay would be good housekeeping.
