We stayed at the Malt House because it was a convenient location neary relatives.I feel it was overpriced for what was on offer here.Breakfast was ok,there could be more options.The room was dated,especially the bathroom.It was dfficult for my elderly father to get in the shower over the bath,infact he didn't have the confidence to use it as he felt he might fall.

We were there for 2 nights B&B. Staff were very friendly and helpful all the way through. Breakfasts were cooked to order and excellent. Comfortable bar area and a great pint of Otter. Unfortunately, our room, No 1, was less pleasing. The en-suite bathroom was dimly-lit and severely dilapidated - you wouldn't want to take your clothes off in there. Also, there's a plumbing problem, and our room smelled strongly of drains the whole time. It might be a good idea to call in Alex Polizzi and upgrade the accommodation.

A good winter's break at the Malt House. Our room was a little small, (it would have been good to have had a bedside cupboard on both sides of the bed). This was more than made up for by the very comfortable bed, good quality bed linen and towels, plenty of hot water and general cleanliness. A full English breakfast (included in the cost) was on offer each morning with good variety of tasty evening meals. Staff were friendly and most accommodating. Thank you.
