What a little gem . For a 2* hostal this place was excellent. Spotlessly clean . Beautiful decor throughout with many Andalucian tiled floors . Jose was very friendly and helpful. Underground parking for 11.50€ a day close by or free on street parking ( if you can find a spot) 20 min walk to the beach or the local bus costs 60 cents each Bathroom a little small but adequate air conditioning in bedroom and beds comfortable Would definitely stay here again. Deserves a 5 * review in my opinion for a hostal x

Great place to stay

This is a little nice place to stay, very conveniently located closed to both the old town and the beach. The place is advertised as a "Hostal", which is, theoretically, a lesser type of hotel, however I can't see any reason as to why it is not classified as a hotel, because it has all the trimmings of one. I love the place and have stayed here in previous visits, and will stay every time I come back. The owner is simple brilliant and quite personable. Can't recommend this place enough for your stay in Salobreña.

El hotel tiene una ubicación perfecta. Es sencillo pero cuenta con todas las comodidades. Las habitaciones son muy correctas y todo está muy limpio. Vous faites une pause dans un petit village typique d'Andalousie entre mer et collines, et vous voulez recherchez l'authentique douceur Andalouse alors fuyez les hôtels de luxe pour ce chaleureux petit hôtel ou José vous recevra avec un sourire et une dévotion inoubliable, une cadre charmant avec des petits déjeuner copieux,il vous guidera dans ce merveilleux village. deuxième fois que nous posons nos valises à l'hostal Palomares toujours aussi sympa et acceuillant. Faites vous un petit resto au "penon" pour déguster une très bonne zarzuela ou sont fameux poulpe braisé. Emilia garde un très bon souvenir de toi et tes recettes lol.
