First of all when I arrived hotel I thought it was mistake,location is too far from center beijing, but found out it was good, actually I visited Beijing Zoo by subway , very accessible, not too far. Takes Subway line 16 ,and 7stops and transfer to line 4, and 8 srops it was great to visit Zoo...not bad at all.... i booked this place for 2 reasons: the great reviews and the proximity to the great wall - We were very pleased. Run by a family, the owners’ son picked us up and drove us back to the airport. Not only did he drive us back to the airport but he actually escorted us to the check in counter and helped us carry our bags etc. He also helped us in purchasing the tickets to the great wall. A wonderful eco-hotel set in a quaint rural setting just outside of Beijing. Excellent views of the surrounding mountains and the Great Wall of China you can hike directly from the nearby village up to Tower 19 of the Great Wall. The room was amazing with wonderful views and the staff was excellent they even had a western-style breakfast and dinner menu with a local Chinese hot-pot option very nearby operated by the same company. I would recommend this place and I would love to come back.
