The hotel certainly has its charms, and the breakfast buffet was quite nice (as is the restaurant!), but the location should come equipped with sound-proofing. No earplugs or eye masks can prepare you for the all-night revelry on the street outside the front-facing rooms. The partying on the street below our room didn't quit until nearly 6am on a Saturday.

Superbly situated hotel, in the heart of the Old Town but only 5 minutes walk from the bus and tram stops if you are wanting to explore further afield. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the room was very clean, comfortable, equipped and even had a spectacular view of the cathedral tower. Breakfast is excellent and the restaurant is pretty good value in the evenings too.

Our stay was wonderful. We were visiting Riga for three days for my 40th birthday and could not have been treated better by the staff. We ate at the hotel restaurant on the first night and the food was very high quality and worthy of its Michelin listing. Excellent value for money for both hotel and restaurant
