Had a wonderful 3-day weekend in Mendocino, and Dennen’s Victorian Farmhouse was the perfect place to stay. I arrived with my pup, Rumble, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. Check-in was easy, and all the instructions were sent the morning of our arrival. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and I loved that they provided a welcome letter for Rumble with some treats. I couldn't be happier with our stay!

Our room was good. There was though a towel left behind from previous guest hanging behind the bathroom door and they left 3 of their shirts in the closet. The room was clean and there was a space heater thank goodness. On the bad side we couldn’t get the digital door lock to work and we had to drive into town to get cell reception so we could call for assistance. Funny thing, there was ear plugs for your comfort beside the bed. Thankfully our neighbors turned their tv off around 10:30 so it got quiet then.

Beautiful place! Clean, super charming. It was the perfect peaceful getaway for my husband and I. Close to town, beach, hiking, everything you need. Love that they text you for check in so it's super easy and you can easily contact someone if you need anything. We will definitely be back!

The location was great. The TV needed some explanation on what was available to watch. The shower/tub was a little hard to get in and out of. We had ants in the kitchen area and a few in the bathroom. The ants got into a bag of pastries we left on the counter in the kitchen area for the next days breakfast, so that was disappointing. Furniture is pretty old and outdated.

The Tree View room that we were put in was very basic. No artwork or decor to make it cozy or aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom mirror is extremely small and hung very low- I couldn't see my face without bending over. There is also no counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletries. With that said, it was clean and the bedding was soft. The price was decent for the close proximity to Mendocino.
