Always friendly, always helpful. The motel continues its renovations and it's noticeable every time you visit. It isn't quick, but it's genuine effort. A family working hard to better the property. And to reflect on a previous review about the nailed up buckets. It's a smoke free motel. I appreciate that the property is clean, devoid of cigarette butts *because* of these buckets! Customers have seats to sit outside, smoke not in the rooms, and dispose of their butts without sullying the property.

Clean and quiet. Not a luxury spot but perfect for a good sleep in a clean room. I played a show in the area and needed a place to crash after the show. Got a good night sleep cheap.

6/10 Good

Please look at the pictures closely! They are 100% accurate! This is a 1950s outdoor access motel. Take that for what it is worth. It is a very basic facility that will work for an emergency or a good nights sleep when you are in far north Texas. Nothing fancy, but a comfortable bed and AC. The motel is in need of renovations and it appears that the family who owns it is working on it. All of the staff were GREAT! They were kind and attentive. They answered the phone when I had questions and were right on site to offer any help I may have needed. They appear to be doing their best to upgrade and maintain the facility.
