The hotel is placed right on/beside Gwangali’s beach frontside with serene like views of the ocean.
The room was nice and clean. The in room spa was amazing and enjoyable, however does take time to both fill up and drain. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! Since my stay was perhaps longer than the average (1+ week), there were a few details that perhaps could be considered:
Breakfast is delivered to your room each morning (as an introvert, I loved this!), however when you check in, you have to choose which menu option you would like … and it applies for each and every morning you are staying there… after 5+ times of the exact same breakfast, it does become a bit tiring.
If you don’t require cleaning, they leave extra towels and water outside your door. Again, great service but way too much for a single or even 2 guests. By the end of my stay, I had so many unused towels that it felt a bit wasteful.
With this hotel you have to pay in advance without cancellation rights. Fair enough. Considering the conditions and the price, after staying 1+ week there, having to pay 30,000 won to check out 1 hour later I think is kind of a lot. They do hold your luggage for you, so that is quite nice.
Overall, a fantastic hotel that I loved so much that I’ve already booked it again for my summer holiday. If the hotel were ever to offer a “membership” program for added perks, I would definitely sign up ^^
