We enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows and not having to step into a bath to have a shower. The enclosed shower was great. Space was tight around the bed and I did bang my leg on the sharp corner of the bed passing from the window side to the bathroom at night. Breakfast was simple but adequate. We enjoyed the entertainers in the lounge. Overall cmfortable and very handy for going to the town centre.

The hotel was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were nice. Rooms are a bit small. The area struck as a bit unsafe- lots of graffiti and dodgy characters hanging about. As a result we did not venture out in the evening and opted to stay in the hotel. The hotel had a nice bar with a lot of activity. Breakfast in the AM was just ok. If it had not been included we would not have eaten breakfast there.

Fun Hotel

Check in staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and had a fun vibe. My only disappointment was we tried to cancel our second night as our travel plans changed and the manager refused because it was “too hard to issue a third party refund”. I knew it was not a guarantee we could cancel the second night I just felt the reason that it was too hard for her was not very customer friendly.

Needs better pillows and mattresses

The location was great. The town was very walkable and it was a 15 minute walk from the furthest attraction. We haven’t stayed at a Moxy before. You get a cocktail at check in so that was pretty neat. We had two pillows for two people and the mattress was ok but a bit uncomfortable which is not like the typical Marriott. They share a gym with the residence inn. There’s also a laundry room but this is exclusively for the other hotel. I wish this was clearly marked on the sign as that was pretty disappointing.
