A beautiful property with lots of art and incredible breakfast with a view! It's a unique place, an education centre with about 200 rooms in multiple buildings. It feels like staying at camp! The staff were incredibly helpful, I can't thank them enough.

Beautiful surroundings. Quiet and scenic. Comfy beds. Room and bathroom were a bit small. The walk from front desk to room could be far with stairs depending on the room since there were 8 buildings spreading on the large property. Friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice/interesting/cool buildings and artwork. Simple rooms, clean, remember to bring shampoo and similar toiletries. Decent breakfast. I’d have liked a kettle in the room because it was pretty far to the nearest coffee/tea machine, i.e. had to walk a bit, also outside and it was raining. Room was a bit chilly even with the radiator turned up. Very comfy bed/bedding. Slept very well.

Suite was very spacious and clean, with lots of up to date equipment. Wifi was terrible. Breakfast was fresh and good with plenty choice. Friendly and helpful staff. If you are elderly or people with walking difficulties, this is not a good choice, cause of all the stairs and wide spread rooms

Design of the place is very interesting but seems like it’s hayday has been few yesrs back. One night stay was a very good option and if you don’t expect a lot (nordic minimalism is your thing) it will be great. Room seemed a bit dated with stained carpet and torn drape but at least it was very quiet as long as someone is not moving with suitcases or slamming doors. Maybe because our room was on far end of the corridor it was a bit below standard. Breakfast was ok except sour coffee. I thing views in some room might be the high point as you will see Oresund nicely and Swedish coast in the distance. Walk around estate and forrest is reccomended but getting to the beachwill be troublesome. If it’s a stop on the way somewhere it will be great, but it wouldn’t be my choise for longer stay unless you'll be mostly outside.

Konventum i Helsingør. ✨ Hvis du drømmer om et ophold omgivet af kunst, arkitektur, natur og historie, så er det svært at finde et smukkere sted end Konventum. Stedet er ikke bare et hotel – det er et stykke dansk kulturhistorie. Konventum blev skabt som LO-skolen og er et hovedværk inden for dansk arkitektur. Historien er fascinerende: Arkitektkonkurrencen blev oprindeligt vundet af Jørn Utzon, men da arbejdet med Sydney Opera House kaldte, blev projektet realiseret af arkitekterne Jarl Heger samt Karen og Ebbe Clemmensen. Resultatet blev et unikt bygningsværk inspireret af både japansk arkitektur og sydlandske landsbyer med smukke gårdrum, lange kig, lys og ro. Og så er der kunsten! Overalt. Ikke kun på væggene, men som en integreret del af oplevelsen. Konventum rummer en af Danmarks største private samlinger af moderne dansk kunst med værker fra blandt andre COBRA-kunstnerne, Trampedach og Heerup. Her bliver en tur gennem gangene pludselig til en kunstvandring. Udenfor venter 300.000 m² park, skov og udsigt over Øresund.
