The hotel and location was spot on, really beautiful. The room was beautiful, very comfortable bed and great bathroom. Our meal in the evening was very good, but the breakfast not so much. Top tip - dont order the kippers. Would definitely visit again.

Our sea view room was fantastic with superb views over the sea and the sunset. Lovely hotel all round. Think the breakfast could be improved though with different breads (not cheap sliced loaves) and also fresh fruit salads like they used to have. We are returning next year though.

We had a suite overlooking the sea which was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of milk to have with your tea/coffee. We would definitely stay there again. Only negative was not having a safe.

Loved our 3 night stay. Had a seafacing room with bay window so had an amazing view right along the estuary. Ate in the hotel one night and had a good, enjoyable meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly, poor lass behind the bar was run off her feet but maintained a calm and pleasant attitude. A beautiful spot for a relaxing and restful break and a handy place for exploring many beaches etc

This hotel has breathtaking views of the Cardigan Bay. The breeze off the water was so relaxing, especially with the windows open. There is a foot path to the cliffs and beaches which we truly enjoyed. The bed was super soft!

Booked the Gwbert Hotel for a 2 night stay before and following a Register Office marriage in Aberystwyth. The room and food were excellent. However, the hotel was informed weeks before our arrival, that the stay would be to celebrate our marriage. Unfortunately, on arrival the staff denied any knowledge of being notified of our event, and even when made aware made no effort or gestures to acknowledge our big day. The marriage details were clearly given to the hotel when the booking was made online and followed up with by phone. Shockingly, we were made to prove the phone call by showing our call log!! We gave the staff every opportunity to rectify their oversight, but still no gesture to make our stay special was made. The hotel is clearly not prepared or able to deal with special occasions which was extremely disappointing.
