Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. It was an idyllic stay in every sense. It’s tasteful, comfortable, and has beautiful mountain views . Only a 10 minute drive from old town Salzburg and a great location for nearby day trips. We have every intention of returning to the area just to stay in this hotel.

We had an amazing stay! The front desk staff was pleasant and gave us ideas of where to eat and what to do. The hotel is perfectly situated near Salzburg but feels more pastoral right near the mountains. They have a fantastic breakfast with everything and anything you could possibly want. There are nature paths right on the property allowing you to wander in nature as desired! The rooms are well appointed and the furnishings are reminiscent of staying in a little chateau. Highly recommend!

Area is very nice for morning run and walking. Ample parking space. Supermarket was 1km away, near by car travel. Hotel has lots of history. Breakfast is nice, service is excellent. Would be nice if there is a bar fridge in the suite room. Lots of space in the suite room.

This is a lovely old Inn located on the outskirts of Salzburg with beautiful grounds. The back door opens to a big patio area with gardens and old trees and access to a greenbelt walking path along a creek. Even though it is located on a busy street, the Inn is quiet. The restaurant is elegant, a bit pricey and seems to be a local favorite too - serving dishes that reflect local sources. We enjoyed our 3 day stay here and would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay in busy downtown Salzburg

The property is pretty. The restaurant is good. Breakfast was ok. We filtered on our search for elevator and a/c. There are 2 separate buildings. The building we were put in had neither. A fan was provide but it was still uncomfortably hot. Slept with the windows open. Parking was difficult. Very limited.

O hotel também tem um restaurante e, em uma noite, não havia vagas para estacionar porque todas estavam ocupadas pelos hóspedes e pelos clientes do restaurante - sugiro deixar reservadas exclusivamente para hóspedes uma quantidade de vagas, no mínimo, igual à quantidade de quartos ocupados no hotel. De resto, tudo muito bom.

Beautiful historic building, wonderful staff.

Our stay at the beautiful 16th century Der Schlosswirt zu Anif was lovely. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Kahlil (apologies for incorrect spelling of your name) who was very helpful on our arrival and during our stay. Being such an old historic building, with solid old oak floors all over, it creeks and cracks when you walk across your room which in the day is charming but at night you will wake your sleeping partner. That aside, the place is true to its age and history and as it should be. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable along with the big fluffy pillows. We used the sauna which was lovely and then braved the outdoor pool which was chilly initially but once in and swimming the chill wore off. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was delicious and exquisitely presented. With local wine suggestions from Kahlil that complemented our meal. Equally breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of options for continental or a menu for cooked dishes as well. We would recommend for a nostalgic experience, be aware that there are many taxidermy animals around the building, which didn’t bother us.
