Room was clean. The hotel was nice.
Just didn't like the fact that the Gym and spa were additional charges where it didn't mention that in the expedia listing.

I stayed in the Grand King Room on the upper floors. Was so lovely to have a massive comfy bed, room to stretch out in, a great TV, free flow drinks in the bar and an excellent quiet breakfast buffet with fresh handmade food beautifully presented and served. Everything was clean, everyone was helpful and even though it's a little out of Tokyo centre, I enjoyed the peace of that and the east access to stations within walking distance. I hugely recommend the nearby bonsai museum/village and the railway museum too. Again both in easy reach.

Everything was great but the staff didn’t seem to coordinate where we should go. They sent us to the 15 floor then told to go to the third floor but then told to go to the fourth floor. Also baggage to and from venue was very slow. With three children and two being on the spectrum was very difficult to get around. But the facility itself was very, very good.

This was rated as a 3-star hotel in Japan. However, it would be a 5-star property in the USA. I have traveled all over the world, and this is one of the finest hotels I have ever visited. Exceptionally well managed, with a wonderful staff, I will definitely be back!

A very good stay at a modern and pleasant hotel. Staff are friendly and their service is good.
The main issue for me was that the gym, whose management is outsourced and caters mainly to the local population, only opens at 9 am and is closed all day on Mondays. This makes it really inconvenient for business travellers that try to stay fit by working out early before the business day begins. Furthermore the gym attracts a charge of JPY 1100 that needs to be settled at entry and cannot be charged to the room
