Perfekt ställe att bo på mitt i stan.

Fint rum och men lite liten balkong att sitta på 😁 räckte till 1 person men det va ok ändå. Det stod att det fanns frukost men det såg vi ingen stans. Jätte trevligt och hjälpsam personal som gjorde allt för oss. Vi önskar dem lycka till med hotellet i fortsättningen.

Great location, close to port and shopping and restaurants. Staff is so nice and helpful. There are a lot of steps to get to the rooms and they are a little narrow. The staff helped with bags which was amazing but this is probably not good if you have mobility issues. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Breve vacanza a Palermo

Hotel meraviglioso sia nella struttura che nei servizi, per non parlare da cordialità del personale. La posizione poi é alquanto strategica, in quanto in 2, e dico 2,minuti a piedi so é già nel centro storico di Palermo. Se dovessi tornare a Palermo saprei sicuramente dove alloggiare. Consigliatissimo!!! Ah, dimenticavo.... La colazione é davvero spaziale con ogni tipo di prelibatezze

Herzliche Gastfreundschaft - schönes Zimmer

Wunderschönes Zimmer mit eigenem Charme. Wir waren vermutlich die einzigen Gäste (November) und wurden trotzdem sehr herzlich und mit vollem Service betreut. Silvia ist eine sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Person. Zudem liegt die Locanda sehr zentral, man kommt gut zu Fuss an viele Orte der coolen Stadt Palermo.

A wonderful stay

A wonderful stay at Locanda del Gagini. Sylvie is lovely and very welcoming. The main bed frame is metal and squeaks. A lot. However, overall the stay was absolutely great and highly recommended.

We only stayed one night at this property on our way through Palermo and it was nice but I wouldn't want to stay much longer. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator and the steps were steep and narrow. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was good for walking to nearby shops and restaurants.

Nice stay at Locanda di Gagini

It was all self check-in. A little confusing at first because we thought we had to find our room key, but they had left a key card on the desk. More like a B&B (not hotel). 3rd floor room has many steps to carry suitcases. Good location. Wonderful breakfast and attentive friendly service.

Gem located in a wonderful old city.

Locanda del Gagini was a gem located in the heart of Palermo. The staff provided excellent service, and they were always attentive to our every need. Our room was lovely, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is located in an older part of the city, and there were many things to see and do in close proximity. The central train station could be reached by foot with no issues. The additional transfer service from the airport was very helpful as well.

Great stay in Palermo

We had a great stay at the apartment in August. The owners communicated with us really well. All the things that we could possibly need were there. The best feature is that the apartment is located right in the center of Palermo,very close to the tourist attractions, streets with stores, restaurants and bars. This apartment is a large suite with great air conditioning. Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! All in all, great experience in every aspect!

We had a large comfortable room. The hotel is an old small hotel without an elevator and the stairs are steep. Silvia was so helpful and responded via messaging very quickly. There was no one at reception except when we met her the first morning.

This is the worst ‘hotel’ we have ever stayed in. We arrived at 22.00 having received a text with instructions on how to enter the building - no reception staff. Finally we got in through the main door but could not find the electronic key card which had supposedly been left on the reception desk. We mailed and rang the number given and was finally greeted with a torrent of abuse. The lady at the end of the line refused to repay our money - didn’t ask for repayment at all just wanted access to our room. She never stopped shouting at us but eventually said she would ring around the other hotel guests to hear if they had taken our key card. This certainly did not make us feel safe. She eventually told us to take a general key card which we could use to access our room - and presumably all the other rooms! That was the last communication we had with any of the hotel staff. We used a key that we found in our room to lock the door. Our room was never cleaned in three days, we never found any bathrobes as mentioned in the booking. If you find steep and narrow steps difficult while carrying your luggage then avoid this place. There is certainly no lift, no assistance and the three flights of marble stairs are a nightmare.
