Room was very clean and ideal for our needs. The gentleman who met us was very polite and helpful and even carried our bag to the room. I had missed the email he had sent with check in instructions but he was most helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Convenient position central near shops and Britannic Gardens. Pretty basic and unprepossessing, but adequate. Very helpful man took luggage up narrow stairs. Otherwise no staff in evidence.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the room (7) was clean. The shower leaked badly and took a long time to get to temperature and the keycard rarely worked smoothly, taking quite a while to buzz into the room. However, these were relatively minor problems. The noise from the road is significant and especially when the O2 academy across the road is open. Earplugs are essential if you need a quiet room. Would probably consider using again, though.

We made an impromptu plan to spend the night in Oxford and, while looking for something within our budget for three adults, we came across this property. The property itself appears to have been refurbished internally, with the lobby in particular looking newly renovated. However, the surrounding locality felt quite rough, which was not something we felt was reflected in the reviews. The main issue during our stay was a strong foul smell coming from the toilet. It appeared that there may have been an issue with the plumbing or ventilation, as the smell returned whenever the bathroom door was opened. We tried various ways to get rid of the smell, and Ahmed, one of the staff members, was very understanding and helpful throughout. Unfortunately, the issue seemed to be beyond what could reasonably be resolved during our stay. The fan provided was also quite squeaky and appeared to be blowing accumulated lint/dust into the room, so it was not particularly effective or pleasant to use. Overall, the staff were helpful and accommodating, but we would recommend that the owners investigate the plumbing/ventilation issue, as this significantly affected our experience.

The room was comfortable enough, albeit a bit shabby around the edges. The gentleman who greeted me was very friendly and kind. However the amount of noise from the adjacent rooms made the stay unpleasant at times - people up at all hours of the night slamming doors, yelling, etc. You could hear every sound and unfortunately the other tenants were not very considerate of others - not really the establishment's fault. Additionally the room had a bad smell any time you didn't leave the windows open. One day I came back from being out for the day and it smelled like someone had smoked a cigarette in there, which I couldn't understand how that happened.

Farid checked us in quickly and was very helpul. It's a little hard to find but in a good location for catching buses or eating out. Several nice resturarnts close by. The shower was great.
