Room was not cleaned. Shower curtains had mildew. Room smelled of smoke. Amenities listed on website are not available in hotel. Tub backed up numerous times and there was raw sewage in the tub. This hotel is only to be used as an absolute last resort. Owner tried to make amends however the trauma was already inflicted.

We have stayed at the recently renamed Jackson Hotel several times we're always impressed by the fact that it is clean clean there's plenty of pillows lots of towels and the staff is always extra friendly and helpful and did I mention that the rates are outstanding

Close to WIU

If you need to stay at a hotel close to WIU this is a good place to go! The service is accommodating and for a small fee we were able to check in early. If you’re looking for a squeaky clean stay then look somewhere else as you will feel like you’re roughing it here. For the cost and the location it works.
