The host was attentive early on and check-in instructions were clear. The location is central and the space itself is cute and well-decorated. However, the building is old with no air conditioning — just one fan for the whole room — which made it unbearable to sleep given the heat. We only managed one night and had to rebook at a different hotel with AC.
Since the listing requires a 2-night minimum, we were charged for both nights despite only staying one. We reached out about a partial refund for the unused night, especially given we were among the first guests to stay here, but the host stopped responding entirely once we mentioned we’d left. Throughout the stay, the host seemed more focused on getting a good review than actually addressing our discomfort — once that stopped being an option, communication stopped too. No flexibility, and no follow-through given how promising the space seemed otherwise
