Loved the stay, close to the harbor and city center. The pool area was also great.

Booked because of the gym and sauna options. Sauna closes at 2100 already and is not very warm. Personal at checking was very nice. Breakfast is good.

I think it's a bit of a bummer that parking needs to be carried out by the customer via yet another website. Hotels should handle their own parking thru and thru. Also, we didn't realize that the restaurant that handled the breakfast was a small walk, and that was a bit of a not so nice surprise as well for a walking-limited person such as I. Other than that, the restaurant also served dinner (a big plus), we managed to get a parking spot for the 2nd night and everything worked fine at the end. Breakfast was also super good!

Comfortable hotel very close to the ferry. Nice little houses. Rooms are large enough and clean.

Nice hotel in this price category. Excellent front office, good breakfast, clean, straight forward rooms. The shower in a small elevated bathtub is not my favorite solution but again for what it is it definitely works.

excellent breakfast

we were on 3rd floor with lift access. the room and toilet are big. room is well layout and bright. however, bed is too soft with a sink-in in the middle. breakfast is enjoyable and though we stayed 5nights we look forward to the breakfast. the restaurant is good too. had a double burger, chicken salad and beer. traveling to stockholm and will be also staying at another scandic hotel.

I've had great cozy time at the hotel because the room was enough space and nice mood with scandic furnitures. The place of the hotel was nearby the visby port.

The property is well located, but the rooms are very institutional looking, sinks are extremely small. It doesn’t have a hotel feel.

Very handy when arriving on the late ferry but a basic chain hotel. Did the job for us.

A disappointing experience for dog owners

We stayed at Scandic for one night with our small dog and travelling with a dog apparently means you get the worst room they have, although you pay more than guests without a dog. The room was unfortunately not clean, incredibly hot and had issues that some basic maintenance could have easily solved. The bathroom was very dirty and had black mould on the tiles, the shower was broken so you could not take a shower without hand holding the shower head. When I brought up the issues to the staff, I got a ‘sorry’ but no offer to rectify any of the issues. We were just told ‘that’s our dog room’. Travelling with a dog should not mean you have to live in a dirty room that’s in disrepair. Very disappointing.
