Nice stop before departure day. Shuttle is convenient even with pay. Rooms are small but efficient. Early breakfast starting from 4 am was nice, warm items (eggs, potatoes etc) starts at 6:30. Complementary coffee was available all the time. The bus stop is 3 min walking very convenient but no dining options except in the hotel which offers dinner buffet.

This is a bare bones establishment, not really what I would consider a truly comfort stay. It met our needs as it was close to the airport and on the shuttle bus route. There were minimal amenities in the room…2 small towels each, no shower mat, no tissues. The mattress was about 2 inches thick and not at all comfortable. Only one outlet worked; the usb port did not. We were told that there were no technicians available (it was a weekend) but the reception staff did offer to change our room; however we found the same situation in the other room. The breakfast was plentiful but not remarkable. This was our second Comfort Hotel stay in Norway and likely our last.

I stayed here many times, so consider this review an amalgamation of all those stays. Staff provide the completely standard level of friendliness/helpfulness for Norway. Breakfast is very good. You can also order food in the evening via reception. Pleasant area to hang out beside reception. Rooms quite ok for the price. I don't feel the need to live at Clarion next door and pay more for a slightly superior room (there's an actual restaurant and bar over there though. But you can stay at Runway and visit.) There's also an Indian restaurant within walking distance). Rooms either face the carpark or said runway. Underfloor heating in bathroom always too low and I've never figured out how to turn it up. I don't think you can. Centrally controlled. On an upper floor there's a ok gym and a cold sauna (again, no way to adjust temperature as far as I could see). I've stayed here both before flights and before/after jobs in the vicinity). There are several departures an hour to the airport by local bus from a stop close by (don't take the rip off shuttle bus if you can help it, double the price for basically the same service). You can also get around Gardermoen area pretty cheaply with the usual ride share apps. I've stayed at almost all the hotels around the airport and I'd probably choose this before a flight. Considering both price and location. Radisson Red/Blue are better located right by the terminal but way more expensive.

The room was clean and the firmness of the bed was softened slightly by the pad under the sheets. The heated flooring in the bathroom was very nice. Also , the bathroom was updated and had a nice walk in shower. There were reading lights by the bed. The staff at check in were nice as were those in the dining room in the evening. In the morning we must have arrived after a big tour group or groups because the scrambled eggs that were left looked watery and unappealing sitting in a big pot. The crepes more than made up for the eggs.. They were hot and delicious. There was a large selection of breakfast items from which to choose. The coffee was okay and I noticed there were several types of milk for those with special dietary needs. Our room was very quiet in spite of the close vicinity to the airport. The walls in the hallway could use a paint job to cover the marks. In the back of the hotel there is a worn down path along the airport fence. I noticed about a dozen people strolling or watching aircraft take off or land. There is also a patio outside with chairs. The airport shuttle costs about $8.00 US each way. It is a full size bus and makes stops at 3 hotels 2 times per hour. Tickets can be purchased on board or at a ticket machine in the airport. I noticed an ironing board and iron near the elevator. There is also a spiral staircase across from the elevator if one would like the exercise. Overall this is a good place to stay for
