Great place to stay with clean, spacious rooms and kitchen. Pool area was lovely and small gym was handy for maintaining strength while on a long trip. Conveniently located near Matsos Brewery and bus stop (public bus is free on Sundays and cheap on other days when it’s too hot to walk down to Chinatown or to get to Cable Beach). Easy walk to Town Beach and the main jetty which is a great place to watch the sunrise.

I was lucky to get an upgrade on check in to a balcony room. This made viewing the staircase to the moon amazing. The apartment had a washer/dryer which was really handy. Kitchen had everything you need for a stay in Broome. Close enough to walk to Chinatown and the shops there.

The proximity of the Moonlight Bay Suites to the town centre ,only a short distance walk or if preferred the bus stop was close .Town bus does a circle and comes every hour .Across the road is Matso’s Brewery for drinks and dining ,seems very popular with locals .The apartment itself was self contained and is very spacious and comfortable .

Overall, it was good. 3.5 to 4-star. Cleaning staff were excellent. Laundry was very good. Beds quite comfy though a bit firm. (The gold standard for beds in Broome is the Oaks Broome. They have the beds you would like to have at home). Kitchen was not appointed that well and the 2-plate induction hob was a bit of a pain to work out and use. The swimming pool was large and quite warm. A bit cloudy at times. The sunbeds were hard plastic and could have done with cushions. An hour on them was about the limit before everything started to ache. There was a rule about no swimming after sunset but on two occasions hordes of kids came and used the pool in the evening, without any intervention. Wondered if they were really staying at the hotel.
