We absolutely loved our stay at The King Charles Hotel! The hotel itself was beautiful, the location was perfect, and the rooms were lovely. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. However, there was one very disappointing experience that unfortunately left a bad impression at the end of our stay. The taxi driver arranged by the hotel for our airport transfer was extremely rude and unprofessional. Not only did he charge us twice the price shown on Uber for the same journey, but his attitude towards us was also very unpleasant. We felt that we had been taken advantage of. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s hospitality, but we believe the hotel should be more careful about the taxi services it recommends to its guests, as such experiences can negatively affect an otherwise wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was adorable, with exposed beams and stained glass. The only complaint would be the small shower, but the staff and the overall experience made up for this. The hotel is located perfectly, quiet and peaceful. I do wish we would have gotten the breakfast as it looked gorgeous. Maybe it was worth the 20 euro each? I would recommend this place to all my friends.

The only positive thing to say is that the hotel is in a building of architectural and historical interest, good location if you want to be in Mala Strana. Otherwise, it’s a mediocre place to stay, with run down rooms in need of renovation. Barebones amenities, a below average breakfast. The charm on the promotional photos does not materialize in real life.

Awesome breakfast A little different with the keys than most hotels you have a real key and only one which made it hard to separate the group but you can leave at desk for others in your party Shower was teeny-tiny and not a lot of outlets However it was economical, breakfast was so good every day. Hotel was nice but impossible to reach the hotel by phone. They only provide you with the number for an automated voice service. I am still waiting for my invoice which they did not provide me with when I left the hotel, Very annoying not having a phone number where you can speak with a real human being.
