We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel modern, clean, and spacious with plenty of great amenities. We enjoyed the pool (towels included) and also the reserved section of sunbeds at the beach across the road. Please note that other people not staying at the hotel can also rent these for a charge. We were close to everything that we needed, including a shop nearby. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the main row of restaurants in Himara, but this wasn’t an issue for us. You’re also next to some nice beach clubs. Lastly, Erica at reception was great. She was very helpful and took good care of us throughout our stay. Sadly the TV didn’t work in our room. I asked for this to be looked at, but it wasn’t resolved. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel.

The welcome from Albi/Alby was appreciated and very friendly. We arrived late and tired after a long journey and he was extremely warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly basic but very clean, had an excellent view and was cleaned every day. We had no iron or ironing board and very few clothes hangers but these were provided on request, no problem at all. The pool area was very peaceful and sun loungers were very comfortable, so we spent some time there and found it very relaxing. The private beach area for the hotel was just over the road and perfect for a relaxing time at the beach. Parking in the underground car park was ideal and easy to navigate. The hotel was ideally placed, close to restaurants and cafes, with more options further on in Himare itself, which was only a 10-15 minute walk away. If we return to the Albanian riviera in future, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Blue Wave Hotel again

Solid hotel, not for princes and princesses

This is not a bad hotel. But it's a little half-baked still. It's an odd reworking of an existing apartment building. No coffee in the room. The shower is a little awkward and will run out of hot water if you're in there for a while, but most won't be taking a shower for that long anyway. They do restock fresh soap daily from Lush which we enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Don't stay here if you need everything to be perfect. Stay here if you're gonna be spending all your time at the beach and doing other activities all day and just coming back to rinse off and get horizontal.

We recently stayed at this establishment and, unfortunately, we are left with a very mixed impression. From the moment we arrived, we felt a heavy, unwelcoming atmosphere. A group of four staff members regularly sat around a table near the entrance, and made no effort to hide their behavior — every time we passed by, the two seated with their backs to us would turn around simultaneously, accompanied by whispering and persistent staring. This kind of conduct is both inappropriate and unsettling in a place meant to offer relaxation and hospitality. Throughout our stay, we received no greetings or signs of courtesy from the staff — except, ironically, on the morning of our departure, when one of them finally spoke to me, not to say hello, but to curtly remind me that it was our last day, just as I was heading to the pool at 10:00 AM (despite check-out being at 11:30 AM). In terms of organization, we were surprised to be given only one room key for two people, which made it difficult to manage our activities independently. After requesting a second key, it was handed to us without any explanation or comment. It was only on the third day — when we mentioned at the front desk that our room still hadn’t been cleaned in the morning — that we received a message blaming us for “monopolizing both keys.” This was the first time we were told that the hotel only had two keys per room: one for the guests and one for housekeeping. The hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful beach views and spacious surroundings. They also have a very good restaurant, which made the experience even better. This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The property is beautiful, clean and modern. The pool is a highlight and has great loungers. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and good quality Lush soaps. The location is ideal with the beach just across the street and good restaurants nearby. What really stood out was the staff at this hotel. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I dont usually write reviews but this hotel deserves to be recognized!

Wir haben spontan für eine Nacht gebucht und wir mussten bei Ankunft nur ca. 1 Stunde auf das Zimmer warten. Wir durften uns sogar in einem Zimmer kurz umziehen gehen, dass Personal ist wirklich sehr nett und hilfreich. Es hat einen Pool und genügend Liegestühle um sich zu Sonnen. Die Rezeption ist draussen, was sehr schön ist. Für die Gäste hat es eine Garage wo man die Autos parkieren kann. Der Strand ist auf der anderen Strassenseite und es gibt Liegestühle nur für die Hotelgäste. Der Strand ist traumhaft schön. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, nur das Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung Geräusche gemacht.

Tråkigt med negativt omdöme men detta boende gör inte rätt, tanken är väl .. bra med parkering. Min dusch luktade starkt avlopp fast det e nytt varje gg man spola vatten. Städ e bra. Läge e bra, men jag e så besviken pga dom har det dummaste systemet och inställning till hur det fungerar med solsängarna, hade det vart som vanliga hotell hade det vart bra. Här fungerar det så att man kan reservera flera solstolar hela dagen utan att ens använda dom, gäster går ner på morgonen och lägger saker på många bäddar och sen är dom inte ens där före kl 17. Så hela dagen får andra gäster ligga längst bak vid soporna utan vind. Dom vet om det och flera i personalen sa det går bra dom gör så för dom har ju betalat för rummet sitt, bla ett franskt äldre par tog 6 stolar och 3 parasoll varje dag fast dom bara hade ett rum, för dom bytte runt vid olika tidpunkter hela veckan, personalen sa vi har sagt det är en säng per person men dom förstod ej så det får va så.. och hotellet gjorde inget, andra gäster fick ligga längst bak vid soporna. Jag fick i 3 dagar ligga långt bak på dålig plats och titta på 30 reserverade stolar och gäster som inte va där på hela dagen men började komma vi 17 tiden. Jag fråga personalen på stranden varje dag om jag kan använda ngn men dom va reserverade, hissade hade inte ens handduk utan bara en vatten eller en bok någon lagt . Förstörde hela min vistelse .. otroligt idiotiskt hanterat av hotellet som även hyrde ut bäddarna

Incrível! Hotel super novo, equipe prestativa, e várias comodidades: elevador, estacionamento coberto (mas enche fácil!), piscina, praia privativa com serviço de cadeira/guarda sol. A localização também é super boa: vários restaurantes e bares no entorno, fácil acesso à estrada e outras praias. Somente se atente que a recepção não é 24h, caso planeje chegar muito tarde. Tivemos somente uma má experiência com o cheiro do ar condicionado, mas nada que afetasse a ótima imagem que o hotel nos causou!
