Great place to stay in Picton. Good food, breakfast free with each night. Tasty and hearty. The staff was absolutely delightful, competent, and helpful. Room was spacious, nice bedding, large bathroom. Only issue for me was dusty fixtures, surely a small oversight, but not great for.anyone.with dust allergies. Apart from that, the space.was neat and tidy.

Beautiful place with nice gardens, dining rooms and big beautiful bedrooms with a balcony. The TV was great! Well located between sandbanks park and Picton. The breakfast was so...so. The people welcoming us at the reception were not super friendly. But we had a bulb problem and the manager of the place came immediately to fix it and was very sympathetic. It was the second time that we stayed in this place and we really liked it. A plus would be to have a pool and to be able to check out at noon instead of 11.

The property is beautiful with gardens and a gazebo and a rail trail near by. Some of the buildings could use a face lift, our room although clean had old stains on the carpet. One of the electrical outlets was wonky..and possibly pose a safety hazard. The pillows and mattress were not great…okay for our one night stay. Entertainment most nights except Mondays at the pub on site. The complimentary breakfast included was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the Waring House in Picton. The room was clean and it was nice to have a balcony and a fridge in the room ( although the fridge was fairly noisy when it ran). The bed was confortable and lots of pillows to choose from. Nice wing chairs in front of the gas fireplace. Too warm for a fire though. Liked the two tiered vanity in the bathroom which meant our toiletries stayed nice and dry, Amelia's Garden restaurant was not what I would call fine dining but the setting is beautiful. The hot breakfast that was included in the room rate and served in the restaurant was excellent with a great selection of dishes from french toast to granola to eggs any style to omelets and pancakes. Enjoyed the entertainment at the Barley Mow Pub on site great ambiance and quaint.

Quaint Inn with great entertainment!! We love the Waring Inn. Slightly dated however the atmosphere and staff are amazing. We've been there 3 times in the past year!
