Only thing we could suggest is that they have better signage for reception and dining. My wife was sitting in the lobby of Quaker House and on 2 separate days someone came in and asked her where the reception was! We are very familiar with the property so no issue for us. The breakfast was exceptional- great choices, excellent jam and lovely dining room. The Barley Room is also a favourite of ours.

Beautiful place with nice gardens, dining rooms and big beautiful bedrooms with a balcony. The TV was great! Well located between sandbanks park and Picton. The breakfast was so...so. The people welcoming us at the reception were not super friendly. But we had a bulb problem and the manager of the place came immediately to fix it and was very sympathetic. It was the second time that we stayed in this place and we really liked it. A plus would be to have a pool and to be able to check out at noon instead of 11.

Property was easy to locate. Check-in was fast and friendly staff. We stayed at the Quaker section, second floor. Beautiful room with a sitting room, Sitting room had a desk, love seat and TV. Huge bathroom, separate bedroom with a king sized bed (very comfortable) full closet. There was also a mini fridge, coffee maker and real wine glasses. Little balcony with 2 Muskoka chairs. Had dinner at the Amelia's restaurant, food was excellent as was the service. There was even a lady playing a baby grand piano for us (very lovely). Had breakfast the next morning (included with our room). Again, very good food and service. Check-out was very fast and simple. All in all a very nice get away at this lovely property. Would definitely stay at Waring House again. The only negatives would be 1. Nice to have extra towels in the bathroom. The shower is in desperate need of a new shower head.

The property is beautiful with gardens and a gazebo and a rail trail near by. Some of the buildings could use a face lift, our room although clean had old stains on the carpet. One of the electrical outlets was wonky..and possibly pose a safety hazard. The pillows and mattress were not great…okay for our one night stay. Entertainment most nights except Mondays at the pub on site. The complimentary breakfast included was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
