Can't really complain, considering the price. We were told this part of Ravenna is mostly frequented by locals, which seems to be true. However, what we weren't told was that the whole area practically shuts down at the end of September (presumably because there aren't any international tourists). A real pity, because I think the apart-hotel really stands to benefit from the increased activity of other local businesses. I guess my biggest issue is that the Hotels.com page for the apart-hotel doesn't clearly describe that the on premise restaurant, as well as the beach café/restaurant shuts down at end of September. We managed to patron the beach café Alessandra once before it closed, and it was really great, I really recommend coming here during the summer and trying it out. The beach is nice and clean, shallow (good for kids). As for the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and had basic amenities (airconditioner/heating, cooking stove, small fridge and freezer). The only real negative about the stay was that, all shaded areas were full of mosquitoes, and evenings were a pain to spend outdoors because of that - bring good mosquito repellent.
