The tiles on the bedroom floor are uneven, a possible safety issue. New dinning / cooking area in the lobby is definitely a plus.

My room and the bathroom were clean. Face towels were not provided. The property was more like a hostel. It’s in a nice location and the Staff was friendly and helpful.

In general it was awesome the staff is very nice, but the building is very run down so it is what it is. You can't go wrong with the location.

I stayed at Central YMCA Residences while transitioning into my new apartment and beginning a new chapter of my life here in Hawaii. From the very beginning, the staff made me feel welcomed and helped turn a big life change into a much easier experience. I especially want to recognize Christine. Every once in a while you meet someone who leaves an impression on you, and Christine was definitely that person for me. She was always kind, helpful, genuine, and had a way of making every interaction feel easy and comfortable. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is gorgeous, so much so it is hard not to notice. Some people just naturally brighten your day, and Christine did exactly that. Thank you Christine, and thank you to everyone at Central YMCA Residences for making my first days in Hawaii something I’ll always remember.

Great place to be for those who in need of place to sleep affordably. Sure it is not for everyone but certainly there will be people who will greatly appreciate a place like this. YMCA is doing great service to our community. Thank you YMCA.

The staff here was extremely welcoming. Definitely satisfied with my stay. The parking was $10, spent the difference on food and shopping- very quiet dorm-like floor.

I have stayed at, and continue to stay at this property because of its no frills rooms, great location, and privacy. Accommodation in Honolulu is extremely expensive, and this property is affordable for all travelers. Anytime I’m traveling through Honolulu on the way to my destination, I choose this property.

Parking was easy and convenient. The Central YMCA is across from Ala Moana shopping center which has everything you could possibly need. It is also huge and confusing. The Y was a blessing. Accommodations in the area are exorbitant so finding a reasonable place was a relief. It’s an old building so it’s a bit dingy but a private room, a place to sleep… that’s all I needed.

Not a standard business trip stay but fits the bil

Not a standard business trip stay, but Honolulu was overbooked and YMCA fit the bill. Location is amazing. Facilities very simple but adequate, and staying there felt like contributing to a community, rather than a random hotel company.
