We enjoyed the coziness of the hotel. Location was exactly what we were looking for, walking distance from many things but quiet and relaxing. We sat on the porch for breakfast and for evening cocktails. The breakfast was amazing and we appreciated having the drink options (water/pop/juice), fruit and protein bars available throughout the day.

Amazing!! Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! As promised, it was clean and quiet. The owner was super nice, breakfast was too notch, & turn down service was a pleasant treat. My only suggestion, even though we had our balcony to sit on, it would’ve been nice to sit outside (ground level) on some lounge chairs to put up our feet and enjoy the atmosphere. But it’s just that, a suggestion. We will definitely be return visitors to this establishment next year! Thank you to everyone at The Anchor Inn who made our stay exactly what we expected it to be.

Our stay here was way beyond our expectations. This place is absolutely beautiful, its like a Hallmark movie. The room was bigger than I thought, with a sitting area and a lake house / beach decor. The owner's Paul and Emily are so welcoming and very outgoing people. This place is walking distance to everything on the island. The location is perfect. Now, my favorite part of my stay here was the Breakfast. It was amazing and included in your stay. The owner Paul is the chef and he is creatively talented with the breakfast options. They offer an extra ordinary continental breakfast, regular breakfast items with a upscale added version. You can also order from Paul's special menu. I had a Cast iron blueberry dutch baby which was delicious. My husband had the Chilaqueles, which he has had in Mexico and said Paul did it exceptionally well. I would suggest when getting breakfast to eat it outside on their covered porch and people watch. Looking forward to my next stay here.

Room was well kept and nicely sized. The staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast was included and starts at 8:30 AM, so if you like to sleep in, this will work great for you. Although we did arrive a little early, they were very accommodating and Cheff Paul makes a great breakfast. The heating in the room did not work, and being early in the year and just opening for the season, the heat was still needed. The owner did get us a room heater, and it was effective at bringing the room up to a comfortable level for the night. Parking was free, but we drove a Jeep Wrangler to the hotel, and the parking was tight on both sides. When ready to pack up, we simply pulled out a little and were able to load up just fine. Overall, it was a nice hotel, and we would stay again next time visiting the island.

Wonderful adult hotel

This is a wonderful adult boutique hotel. The food was great for breakfast and the room was a nice size. The room was very clean and having water for guest was much appreciated.its close to everything in walking distance, however away from the crazier hotels on the island. They have some bikes you can use to get around the island or across the street you can rent a golf cart. We will be back for sure.

We had a lovely stay on July 24th. The Anchor Inn is centrally located, within walking distance of the harbor and the Main Street downtown. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large and updated. The breakfast they served was delicious. Everything was fresh and such a variety on the menu. Lovely. We ate our breakfast outside on the front porch. We will definitely stay at the Anchor Inn for our next visit.

We book this hotel for my boyfriend 30th birthday and it was awesome. Very clean, very unique the breakfast was made fresh to order so good. Hotel room was nice with a balcony. My husband and I stayed in the Wee Anchor Cottage for our 20th anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage gave us the privacy of having our own little getaway while still enjoying all the amenities of the Anchor Inn. The property is beautifully maintained with gorgeous landscaping, charming porch seating areas, and a relaxing atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. One of our favorite parts of our stay was the breakfast. Not only was there a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning, but the chef also prepared incredible made-to-order breakfast specials that were included with our stay. Everything we tried was delicious, and it was such a wonderful way to start each day. The location was ideal. We were within easy walking distance of downtown Put-in-Bay, restaurants, shops, and attractions, but far enough away that we could escape the crowds and noise when we wanted to relax. The hotel’s quiet hours from 11 PM to 7 AM were greatly appreciated and made for peaceful nights of sleep. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, non-party atmosphere on Put-in-Bay, this is the place. The staff was welcoming, the property was beautiful, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the Wee Anchor Cottage and Anchor Inn to anyone looking for a relaxing island getaway.

Their customer service is amazing! From dropping our luggage off early, (which they placed it in our room for us once our room was ready), to having our room available early, to the nighttime turn down, the made to order breakfast, cold drinks available throughout the day, and a morning refresh of our room, we felt very pampered. We definitely would stay here again!
