This place is an experience. I have no words, you have to come to Fes and live it. The owners Yasmine and Alex are unbelievable hosts, nothing is too much for them, incredibly helpful and generous. We had an excellent stay at Riad el Calife. There is not one thing I would change about our visit. The staff is amazing, the location convenient, the setting exquisite, the rooms luxurious, the food delicious. We felt very well taken care of and the entire staff was extremely attentive. We stayed 4 nights . Suite Ruby. It exceeded all of our expectations! We are letting our friends and family know this is the place to stay. A 3 min walk from the meeting point where all activities start. The couple that run the etablissement are lovely. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Staff is also divine. Wow! There are so many good things to say. First of all, everyone at Riad Le Calife was above and beyond in kindness and hospitality. Alex and Yasmine were such great hosts who gave us great insight to Fes and even supported us with obtaining a bag we left behind in the Sahara Desert!! Mohamed helped us get taxis, find nearby toothbrushes and toiletries (due to our temporarily displaced bag), and kindly hosted us at the riad's amazing restaurant upstairs (Fatima is an excellent chef, by the way). Beyond the amazing people, the space itself is incredible. Beautifully designed with an amazing view of the city. What a special place to spend part of our honeymoon. We hope to come back!

We spent several nights at the Riad Le Calife and were very impressed with the facility, service and hospitality. The food was excellent and the attention to our requirements far exceeded expectations. They are true ambassadors to FEZ and want their clients to have a great experience. Alex and Yasmin provided a beautiful experience. We stayed in the Rubis suite for five nights. The property itself is stunning and has many unique antiques throughout. The staff is excellent and catered to our every need. Alex arranged a guided tour of the Medina, as well as escorts to help us find restaurants in the evening. My wife enjoyed the cooking class with Fatima. We ate at the Riadh for breakfast and several dinners and all of the food was excellent. they are beautiful views of the Medina from the rooftop terrace and the restaurant especially at sunset. They have a relationship with the luxury hotel Palais Faraj we enjoyed Hamam annd massage experience at that hotel arranged by Yasmin as well.

Room was very clean, well appointed, comfortable. Food was excellent. House is converted private home, but the furnishings are all very appropriate to what would have been there - very well done. The owners (French/Moroccon) were wonderful - spoke English extremely well, were available every day, and bent over backwards to write down recommendations, show us the locations on a amp, etc., etc. Like any accommodations in the medinas, you need to arrange to have someone from the hotel/riad meet you to help with luggage.

Wonderful Riad for a stay in Fes

Riad Calife is a wonderful little hotel in the old part of Fes. The property and rooms are beautifully decorated with a blend of Moorish and French architecture. The rooftop terrace and restaurant area offers a great view of the oldest part of the city. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

This is a beautifully renovated old riad in the Fes medina. The staff and management are wonderful and made us feel very cared for. We received great advice on how to optimize our time in the medina and restaurant options outside of the riad. Riad Le Calife's food is also excellent. The rooms are very comfortable as are the common areas such as the courtyard and dining rooms. Its location is very good as well with quick access to car-accessible streets and cabs. We highly recommend a stay at Riad Le Calife

A hidden gem

I cannot recommend Raid Le Calife enough. The best place I have stayed in for years. If you want to experience Fez and Morocco, then this is the place for you. A great location and wonderful rooms and facilities. The owners, Yasmine and Alex and their excellent team, were always there to help and make our stay memorable.
