When I arrived I showed them my booking through hotels.com. The staff member at the front desk then tried to charge me on their debit machine. I showed them my paid receipt from hotels.com, they then tried to tell me that the funds didn't go through and to check my bank. I checked my bank and there were no funds taken but I told them that Hotels.com typically charges me the morning after my check in. I showed them my booking and my receipt sent by hotels.com again and insisted that I wouldn't be paying, as I already had.
It seems like this hotel is deliberately trying to double charge customers that have already booked and paid through hotels.com and are ignorant of the process.
Along with this, the doors to the hall don't even lock, anyone could just walk in. The rooms are pretty bad. Plywood patch jobs on the walls where holes were, hardly even a bed sheet of a blanket, dirty floors and counter tops that are worse than most hostels that I've stayed in.
All in all it was a very bad experience and I'd highly recommend that no one stays here.
