Great B&B

Great B&B in Marlinton! Met the new owner and she was very nice and made us feel very welcome. It felt just like going to Grandmas house when I was a kid.

Charming Inn

The owner met us and explained all we'd need to know about our stay. The room was small, but more than adequate, very clean. Wi-Fi worked well. It is an older remodeled home, so outlets for chargers were at a minimum, but plenty for 2 people for a night. Continental breakfast was good, lots of choices. Definitely would stay there again.

The owners were wonderful—friendly and helpful, and since they live nearby, check-in was quick and easy. The property is clean, comfortable, and set in a beautiful, peaceful location just outside of town. What makes this place especially unique is that each cabin has its own story, adding a fun and personal touch to the stay. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend staying here!

Not a lot of options in the town for dining. A few casual country restaurants. There was one more upscale place, but it was closed. Cabin was nice and we did have the option to cook there or grill. Enjoyed our stay overall. The hosts left nice notes and made sure we knew how to reach them if we needed anything.

Perfect stay

Our stay at Moore House Inn was great! The family that runs the Inn is nothing short of amazing. They were so welcoming and although we had car issues during our stay the couple did everything they could to ensure we still enjoyed our visit! The inn was comfy and welcoming! The breakfast was good with lots of choices. We enjoyed sitting on the swing and listening to the birds and the creek and the little town of Marlinton is so welcoming. We met so many amazing people! Took some amazing bike rides, and then relaxed back in our room.We already can’t wait to go back.

Be at Home at the Moore House Inn & Cabins

The visit was amazing. Oliver and Amelia welcomed us and helped us with our things as their lovely mom checked us in and showed us around. Owners are delightful, and we felt like we were with family right from check in. It is what a real lodge should be like, clean, cosey, rustic yet modern. We wish they were closer so we could go there often. The kitchen was clean, stocked with numerous food items for snacks and breakfast. All that one could want including watching deer from the porch swing, or sitting reading, play checkers or watch TV.. Local town is great too. It was a blessing to stay in Marlinton. Just be aware that the cell service is sporadic in the area and GPS can be a problem. If you have trouble with stairs ask for rm 1 as it is on the 1st floor.
