Perfect for our needs. We were only in town for 1 night. Room was clean, staff were nice. Easy check-in and out, and easy instructions for entry. Did not need to use storage lockers, but that is a huge plus. Would absolutely return again agin as it is conveniently located to great shopping and restaurants.

Perfect location! The staff was really nice and the room and commun areas were clean. As a boutique hotel of 8 rooms on the 1st floor, it does not have the amenities you would expect but the location is amazing... lots of restaurants and shops with a taxi stand nearby. The only downside is the walls are thin and we could hear clearly people in rooms next door. The check-in was a bit confusing but we did receive instructions with pictures and figured it out! Side note, the elevator is a traditional European iron style which we didn't use as we were unclear on how to operate it! But all the rooms are just 1 flight of stairs up.

Great location for tourists , lots of different restaurants and coffee shops around , small supermarket too. Walking distance to shops Main Street etc including metro stations . Taxis are around . Property is nice , common area includes water some furniture to sit and eat at the tables if you have take out . Storage for bags if needed to leave after check out. Overall satisfied with our stay, would come back . By the way, it’s not loud ( at least in our room) the streets are full of people chilling and having food but also quite calm and cozy atmosphere not like in the middle of the busy plaza or anything else. Restaurants around offer many different cuisines - one can pick whatever.

This place is amazing! Much closer to a 4* accommodation. Impeccably clean, super modern and comfortable, incredibly easy to access. Plus one of the best showers I’ve ever used. The area was incredibly quiet and convenient, had no issues getting anywhere and most things were within walking distance. Additionally, the staff were amazing. When we had an inquiry we were able to contact the 24 hour helpline and were assisted greatly. We were also responded to quickly through the Expedia messages. Fully fully recommend and will be returning!

Poor customer experience and dark room. The hotel is actually an apartment converted into a 12 room “hotel”. There is no staff onsite. The property is very clean and quiet. However: You will need to do a bunch of paperwork ahead of time to get your access code to get in the hotel. I did not see the email for this since I booked through Hotels and I got to the hotel jet lagged and had to spend 40 mins standing on the street in the heat trying to complete the formalities including paying city taxes. It would have been nice of the staff to let me into hotel first so I was not on the street and then process the required paperwork. The autonomy is clean and basic. The room is quite dark with the windows fully frosted. Will not repeat.

This was one of the best stays in all of my europe trip!! The neighborhood is very safe and there is a cute coffee shop right downstairs. Beds are comfy, hotel room is quiet, plenty of space, and in a very convenient location for metro or walking to some local bars and restaurants. You will need to uber or metro to the touristy parts, most likely.

Great location, good value

This property is in a really good location on a beautiful tree lined street. Tons of coffee shops, restuarants in the area. The room felt pretty comfy for the most part. On saturday night, the street was a bit loud which made it hard to fall asleep early, but for the rest of the week it was pretty quiet. The train stations were a bit further (10min walk), but lots of buses within 1-2 blocks. You can pretty much walk to both Gaudi houses. One thing that I found very annoying was the beeping noises from people accessing the premises and their rooms. I really think they should switch to a keycard based system, or remove the beeps to make it a bit more peaceful.

The room was very tiny, the toilet was wobbly and very noisy (aside from normal flushing sounds), the air conditioning unit sounded more like tractor. In addition, the room was not soundproofed as described: snoring could be heard from the next room. The property deserves the one star because the location is very convenient.

Modern, limited space, but a good property

This hotel is in the Eixample district. Our street was lovely and a little upscale surrounded by many restaurants. The "hotel" was hard to find as they essentially have one floor in an old building and there is only a small plastic label on the intercom system. Our driver seemed perplexed as well, but upon getting out of the car, we figured out that we were in the right place. Despite choosing to pay upon arrival, we received an email a few days prior, asking us to register and pre-pay. We were on a cruise and not on a secured internet connection, and besides, we were not expecting this. Was it legit? Seemed strange. So it did cause a little stress. The day prior to check in, they emailed again (not through hotels.com, but email), strongly requesting us to check in, saying that we needed to do this to get get the door codes, so we initiated the procedure. It asked us to send our passport info (did that), and then our credit card info, (didn't do that). Remember, we are on public wifi... They then make it more nerve racking as the reception has "limited hours", so we don't know if any one will even be there... yikes. BUT- it all ended up okay, the emails were in fact legit, and there is an attendant there in the mornings. She was helpful and they have locking storage you can use, couches and a washroom if you need to rest. It will be tight if you have 4 cases, the space is limited, but it was very usable and we would stay there again.
