I was doing Gillies Lake parkrun on the Saturday and I flew up from Toronto the night before. It was past Midnight but they got to my motel room anyway. I was only there for eight hours. The bed was good and I got a good night sleep. It was cold outside, but the room was warm. The shower was warm. They only gave me one towel for drying, and there was nothing on the floor, no mat so just be careful not to slip. There was a TV and there was also an area where you could cook. It wasn’t dirty or anything. It was just kind of dated. A nice quick little stay.

It's located just out of the city right next to the highway. The room had a kitchenette, was big and spacious. It had the wear and tear that you'd expect at this price point.

Place is run down, dirty, pillow cases looked dirty, rarely anyone at front desk. Rooms have kitchenette but no dishes or dish soap or towels. No extra toilet paper. No glasses to drink water. Coffee in room tasteless. No phone in room not even to call front desk. No extra security when locking door only lock on door knob. Bathroom was dirty as well. Hairs in bathtub and electric baseboard heater was full of dust and hair. Busy weekend in Timmins nothing else was available. Didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in bed linen went to buy some at Walmart. I do not recommend.
