This is a beautiful, clean hotel located ideally in the old section of Montreal. All staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee, lattes etc were available all day for free. Our room was spacious. Unfortunately it looked out on a wall. The bathroom had a great shower but lacked hooks to hang up wet towels etc. We would stay there again and definitely recommend it to others.

A clean and well maintained room. The breakfast was high-end continental with bagels, croissants (chocolate and plain), and toast with all the fixings (including turkey and ham). The unlimited hot drinks 24 hours a day is a definite perq. It is excellently situated by Place Royale and within walking distance of all the sights of Old Montreal, excellent restaurants, and the St Lawrence (but up the quieter end)

This is the second time we have stayed here. The staff is wonderful - offering great recommendations for meals and “don’t miss” places to visit. The hotel’s location in the heart of Old Montréal has many activities within walking distance. The breakfast provided a nice variety of choices. The coffee bar being available all day is a fun perk. As with countless buildings in Montréal, the stairs at the entrance are very steep. This is not a complaint at all, just a fact for people to be aware of. We will definitely stay here again!

We had high expectations for this hotel since it was nominated the Reader's Choice Award by Conde Nast Traveler. We had a very comfortable stay and the hotel has an excellent location convenient to the waterfront and port area, and plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, The metro station is about about a 7 min walk. Our room was spacious and the shower jet spray bar was an unexpected treat. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We felt some details fell short - no drinking glasses were provided in the lobby cafe, breakfast items needed to be replenished (after guests informed staff), and some amenities stated on the hotel website were no longer offered. The continental breakfast provided is good, however the dining area is very cramped.

We stayed one night, but wished it was more. The staff (every one of them) was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was the best version of the classic continental, and the complimentary espresso bar was a welcome bonus. If we are ever in Montreal again, we will definitely return.
