First, they advertise on Hotels.com that you'll get a balcony, but we got a room without one. They need to fix the listing or clarify.
The management was non-responsive to request for basic housekeeping (towels, trash empty). We put out the door hanger saying we'd like our room refreshed, and the first day, no one came. We texted, and they responded that someone would come by, but they didn't. We texted again that night that no one ever came by, and got no response. Housekeeping ignores the door hanger.
When we returned to the room, a couple of clean towels were on the floor outside our door (but no washcloths, etc.). No one had set foot in the room, despite our asking specifically for this.
We emailed and got a response that our concerns were being addressed, but the unsigned email with a canned style of writing indicated that likely an AI bot is used to respond to key words. We did not trust this bot to communicate our desires to the housekeeping staff, so when we spotted the housekeeper in the hall, we asked him to please refresh our room,. When we returned, we were very pleased he had done this for us. Based on his shirt, we could see that he works for an outside company (not directly for Hotel Whiskey). This could all be avoided if there was a employee on site at a desk.
The walls are very thin and there is no carpeting, so sounds travel. Someone had a dog, which we heard bark several times. We could hear the next-door room's unanswered alarm clock.
