We had the most amazing rooftop room that was very private yet with the most beautiful views and sounds of the Opera House next-door. The staff was quite helpful and made sure that we were taken care of the New where we were going at all times. This is a hotel. I do plan on returning to.

This hotel was perfect for our family of 4 for our 2-day stay in Rome. The hotel is very centrally located - next to a major subway line and even a 20-25 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. The staff were SO kind, helpful and friendly. Anna was exceptionally welcoming and gave us great advice for where to eat in the area. She also reserved a taxi to the airport for us and prepared a breakfast for us all since we left early before the buffet breakfast opened. That was a nice touch. I highly recommend Hotel Maximus!

Its a nice hotel that is worth the money. One minus is that it take some time to walk to the center. For example fontana di trevi. You need to walk trough some larger slopes in order to get back. Takes about 20-30 min back to the hotel. And this is a city that you walk a lot in. So if you are not willing to do that. I would recommend another location. Breakfast was ok but no so nice area to sit and eat at. The reception is nice. Hotel staff 10/10. But with some renovation at the corridors it would be really nice. Rooms was also quite good also.
