I have stayed at both Fairmounts in Vancouver and this one is the best. The room is nicer (and more updated), the staff was very nice and welcoming, and the amenities were great. Loved the hotel overall and the staff. Botanist the restaurant was amazing. Great food and cocktails. Breakfast was fine. Rooms would have been great large beautiful views and well appointed. Did not care for carpet stained looked dirty and gave an overall sense of room not so clean. I don’t want to mislead you rooms ARE clean but carpets and old sheets and towels kind of put me off.

Fairmont Pacific Rim was in an excellent location close to the water's edge in Vancouver. It was easy to walk to Gastown and the cbd and a fantastic spot to commence a bike ride or walk to the sea wall and Stanley park. We had a gold room which was gorgeous and we particularly enjoyed the benefits that come with booking the gold rooms
