food excellent variety , offered a chance to take a paid upgrade which was accepted . staff and fellow guest friendly and easy to connect with . Location is amazing for sea views and vehicle access to the island . Within easy walking distance of 2 really good beaches which are served by numerous cafes and various water sports

Great location, comfortable appartments

Always great to stay at Bahia Blanca. Great appartments (but this time we were at one of the top ones, and you really need to "love" stairs"). Nice staff and good atmosphere. Benefit with the location is that you can walk to Amadores Beach (10 minuttes) and to the centers of Puerto Rico (20-30 minutes).

As always a great stay. Nice staff, good breakfast and nice apartment. Only thing this year was the elevator didn’t work during our stay (1 week) not okay, and when asking in the reception the answer was, working on it. We were at first floor, so we could manage but the upper flors had difficulties getting up.

The apartment slept 4 (there were2 of us), but we were only given 2 bath and one hand towel. Sofa needed replacing as cover cracked and split. Lift doesn’t work in the rain. Male (manager?) on reception told me to go on line to order takeaway from any site although we found out the restaurant had a take away menu. Large space for 2.

Room was clean and well equipped. Pool tiles on the floor were broken in various areas. Cleaning only once every five days. Magda on reception was amazing and always helpful absolute credit to this business. Hotel is the perfect location for both Amadores and Puerto Rico.

I would not stay here again. Despite the great location near Amadores Beach and pleasant views, structural issues and poor service ruined the experience. ​🛏️ Room (3/5): Has a fridge and washer, but appliances are very dated. TV lacks cable/apps. The old air con faces the bed and resets to freezing temps with a strong draught, making sleep impossible. Curtains were dirty. ​🧹 Cleaning (2/5): No daily service; only once a week for 5+ night stays. You must take out your rubbish and reuse towels. Utensils were dirty, the bread maker had crumbs, plus ants in the kitchen and cockroaches on the balcony. ​🏊 Pool (3/5): The heated pool is a plus, but it is small and crowded with kids. Loungers are scarce; guests reserve them early. Towels require a €10 deposit and a €4 fee (with extra fees to exchange for clean ones). ​♿ Accessibility: Practically non-existent. Access relies on a slow funicular lift and stairs. Not recommended for reduced mobility. ​🚗 Parking: Street parking only. Spaces are very limited and hard to find after 10 pm. ​🛎️ Staff: Unhelpful with unforeseen issues. Avoid if you want stress-free support. ​Summary: Brilliant location, but poor hygiene, dated facilities, hidden costs, and unhelpful staff mean it is simply not worth it.

Good location and nice hotel in Puerto Rico

Very nice hotel with convenient location, you can walk to both Puerto Rico as well as Amadores beach. Nice apartments all with fabulous views. Really nice staff. Breakfast ok.

I stayed at this hotel for my vacation, and it happened to be raining heavily. We had very large pieces of luggage, but the elevator wasn't working. Even though there were many staff members around, nobody offered to help us, even after we explicitly asked. We had to carry our heavy bags up ourselves, step by step, and I actually slipped and fell. Throughout our entire 5-day stay, the elevator broken every single day. We had to manage everything completely on our own; the staff simply didn't care. We paid a premium price expecting good service, but received none. There was no room service or porter to help with luggage. I even saw several elderly guests struggling with their bags with absolutely no assistance from the staff. I have seriously never had such a terrible experience before.

What we saw in the photos was completely different from reality. The sofa in the living room was torn, and the room was not clean, especially underneath the beds. For 4–5 days, we had a serious cockroach problem in our room. We complained to reception twice, but they only sprayed the room. The cockroaches returned the next day, and our room was never changed. We also saw large insects/worms and even large lizards. One lizard came from the terrace into our room, and we had great difficulty getting it out. I have photos of the cockroaches and insects as evidence. This situation seriously affected our family. My daughter became unwell and could not sleep at night because she was so afraid of the cockroaches. My wife was also very distressed. One night, we had to stay outside our room until around 3:30–4:00 AM because of the cockroaches and the smell of the spray. Hotel security staff saw us outside. We had paid a lot for the room and unfortunately could not afford to book another hotel as well. We felt trapped and had no real alternative. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. We would not recommend this hotel, especially for families with children.

Plus points: Great staff, good facilities and nice room with a comfortable bed and fabulous sea views. Super shower with plenty of hot water. Quiet at night. Breakfast was great and much better than expected, with lots of hot and cold options. Less good points: the lift was broken down for the entirety of our stay (10 nights). Fortunately, our room was on a medium level and we are pretty fit, so it wasn’t too bad for us, but for people higher up and especially old folk it could be a nightmare. The resort is built on a mountain side, as is much of Puerto Rico and is not really suitable for people with impaired mobility. cold options.

Terrible experience

We were on half board basis and we made a huge mistake because food was terrible. We had only 1 breakfast and 1 dinner and all other days we had to eat somewhere else. The lift wasn't working on our first day.It seems the lift is always the problem there. Apartments has a lot of stairs which is a big problem especially when your apartments are at the top of hill.The young lady at the reception wasn't nice with us at all.She actually was very rude with us and she didn't want to listen about any our complaints.We were asked to pay extras for 24 and 25/12 evening meals but as the food was terrible we refused to pay all extras. Apartments overall are nice and has everything what you need. Sofa bed was terrible, my son wasn't sleeping at the night time at all.The bed for our son wasn't prepared even. Also was very noisy but we don't mind it. The place wasn't for us at all.We had been before in so many lovely places in Gran Canaria but this apartments were the worst place we had ever been.
