Great location to explore Dotonbori. We travelled with our kids who loved the ice cream, drinks and popcorn machine. As its in a Central location the room we had was quite small but adequate. Id recommend avoiding a room with a pillar in the centre as it is literally in the middle of the room but we worked round it and throughly enjoyed our stay.

This was an amazing hotel for kids! The lobby was my daughter's favorite part of our stay, with free ice cream, drinks and daily kid activities. The breakfast was also fairly inexpensive and with decent Japanese and Western food. I highly recommend!

The location is very convenient, the nightly ramen/ice cream treats were fun, and the breakfast was more than ample each day! We stayed here with my parents in two rooms for three nights. When our AC malfunctioned on our first night, the staff was very helpful in relocating us. We have visited Japan over 20 times, and found this hotel to be very unique with a lively/fun vibe. If you are used to Western hotel rooms, you will find these very small, with correlating bathrooms...but when in Rome...or in this case, Osaka...you just get used to it and it's not a big deal! I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel, I appreciated being near two restaurants that catered to my mom's celiac disease (okonomiyaki made with rice flour), and near so many massage places (where I enjoyed affordable leg massages). Highly recommend!

Situated in the heart of Dotonbori, this hotel was great for my trip with my son. It felt a little less nice from a decor standpoint but the free drinks and snacks (including beer and ice cream) in the lobby were a nice touch (and the only hotel in Japan that offered this to us during our six night stay.). Staff was very friendly. Location was great for walking around, shopping and restaurants.

The amenities were on point! Full face masks, body towels, etc. The location was great. Close to Dotonbori attractions-Don Quijote, Gilco Running Man, train stations. It’s on a busy street but did not hear any noise inside the rooms. Has a nice lobby equipped with 2 massage chairs, free beer and soda, ice cream, and ramen at nights. Activities everyday for free in the lobby. Kids enjoyed the free keychain making. Overall, I would recommend this place. Family friendly, staff was great, amenities a bonus!

I loved the Dotonbori Hotel--the hospitality, the daily cultural activities (like kimono dressing), and incredible complimentary offerings like beer, ice cream, and noodles. The staff members are very nice, friendly, versatile, and have great customer service skills. I felt very welcomed into the hotel. During the Kimono Experience event, the staff members helped dress everyone up, complete with sandals and hairdo. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to friends and family!
