Hotel was great. Staff were attentive although i didnt find them friendly or welcoming. The pool and gym timings were restrictive for me as i wanted to use them before breakfast. The lighting in the room were minimalistic and it took me two days to make the bathroom brighter. The hotel is beautifully decorated and i enjoyed the sea views. It would be nice to have small towels in the gym. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very relaxed and calm hotel. Staff are very helpful and kind. Breakfast is excellent. Room is very clean and modern. The hotel is well placed being only a short walk from the sea and local night life/restaurants but not too close for it to be noisy.

Good, clean and modern room. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was great, both a la carte and buffet, but the choice and quality at dinner was less impressive (the burger was a little disappointing), particularly when there is so much choice nearby. The roof pool area is small and compact, but ideal to unwind for a while whilst on a business trip. The location is great and right in the middle of St Julian's. I will definitely stay here again.

4/10 Regular

We booked this hotel as we were attending a festival and wanted a bit of luxury during our downtime. There was no mention in the hotels description of the room having a see-through glass wall so you can see straight into the shower with no option for privacy (a retractable curtain) and the sink to brush teeth etc was in the actual bedroom. This is what I would associate with a hostel rather than a 4 1/2 star hotel. We complained about this and were upgraded to a suite which was great but it meant we were without a room for 2 hours which delayed us getting ready for a boat party and we had to rush to make it. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have left us in our room until the new one was ready, but instead we were asked to come out, which we did, then we went to reception and the told that my partner could have her shower in there to start getting ready however even this was disturbed as the cleaner came into room while she was semi naked. Even more worrying as some of the house keeping staff were male and could have easily been one of them that came in. Some staff were excellent and some were quite rude. We had to call reception a number of times to get extra toilet rolls as they only provide 1 at a time and the iron was really poor so we didn’t feel as well dressed as we would have liked as our clothes were not ironed properly. I used the gym which was adequate and my partner used the rooftop, which she was happy with. Breakfast is also overly complicated
