Renovation are good improvement!

Renovations they are doing are improving the overall property. Nice town! Izzys which is attached to the hotel is great as its pretty cold in mid winter…why go outside when restaurant/bar is attached.

It is advertised that guests will receive a complimentary breakfast and that it is served until 10 am. We went at 930 yesterday and there wasn't any food. So we had to go somewhere else. There aren't many options in Warroad to eat. The room was ok, had a slight musty smell. Bed was a tad too soft.

No elevator and they put us on the second floor when there were plenty of rooms on the first floor unless they weren't king size beds on the first floor. "Breakfast" was basically non-existent.. Only coffee for a beverage, no juice.

Beware!!!! Our first room stunk of cigarettes! We got moved to another room,didn’t smell but the room was filthy. The hallway carpet was cleaner than our rooms. Ended up cleaning the bathtub and sink area, they had some kind of black substance in them. Bathroom floor filthy, room still had some leftover garbage in the waste baskets. Bedding was clean! Needless to say we won’t be staying here or recommending this place to anyone.

Nice lady at the reception desk. Old worn out spring mattress. Dirty bathroom. Dirty room. Looks like they were in a hurry when they were “cleaning” the room. No breakfast, unless you like only black coffee and bagels with cream cheese. I had two camping chairs on the back of my pickup truck and someone stole them while my truck was parked at the hotel property. Don’t leave anything in your car.

Morning coffee problems

Mattress was very hard, no pillow top. No in room coffee maker. I had to leave my room to get coffee and only 2 chives for coffee creamer and both containers sugar… the milk was locked up because it was after 10:00am, but the staff unlocked the milk for me, even though she was very busy with laundry. Thank you for that.
