Outstanding breakfast buffet. Great location

8/10 Very good

Staff was helpful and the room was quite clean. The air in the reserved room in the old part of the hotel wasn't good and we had to upgrade to a newer room with an extra payment.

Conveniently on the E6 highway and near the centre of town. The breakfast was great and there’s a friendly pub next door. Reception staff helped us with the best place to park and charge the car. It’s next door

Narvik is a small town. Bur this is a large hotel with great rooms, and a great breakfast.

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel can be easily accessed by bus from the airport. The room is spacious. There is a shopping centre nearby which is very convenient for travellers to buy necessities or dine. We enjoyed our stay here.

6/10 Good

Good hotel but bit tired rooms

The hotel is conveniently located and staff very friendly. The rooms are a bit tired and more like a budget hotel, the breakfast v nice but no room to sit. The gym access a few buildings down was good

Excellent Reception at the hotel from check in till check out by Staff Victoria. Sadly it was her last day working with Quality hotel when we checked out. Location of the hotel could not be more convenient as the bus stop is just right in front of the hotel!

Great stay in Narvik at the Royal. Great breakfast included. Old school bar restaurant attached. If you’re skiing and don’t have a car, it’s a 20-30 minute hike up the hill. Call a taxi. Good lobby snacks including sandwiches if you arrive late. Rooms w view of the ski hill are available. Check that ski hill is fully open when planning. Gondola was closed and 3 slopes were open in Feb 2026 as they prepared for World Championships
View of ski hill from room on 6th floor
Looking across lobby entrance at mall next door where there’s a grocery and drug store

Good breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, hot show. Stairs are unsafe - dark & no guidance how to get to reception once on first floor

Good location

The cleanliness is good, location is also very convenient. The aiport bus stops directly in front of the hotel. There’s a shopping mall just across the road with a supermarket too. Only complaint is that there is no bathroom slippers and toothbrush kit provided.

2/10 Poor

Room was clean, no real amenities except for a bottle of shampoo and hand wash Staff unfriendly and unwelcoming Made us feel we were bothering them and taking them away from something much more important than welcoming their customers Staff in lobby restaurant also cold and uninviting
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Good breakfast buffet, comfortable room & beds. Stairwell is dark & no guidance how to get to reception - do not use! Parking is close & reasonable, but off-site. We enjoyed dinner at pub downstairs (halibut, salmon pasta, apple cake)

6/10 Good

Clean and cozy room, affordable price, location good. The room temperature was not adjustable and hence it was too hot to sleep. Would have kept window open but the traffic noise was too loud. Would not come back during summer. The most important thing about a hotel is to offer a good night’s sleep, this hotel could not deliver that.
