Cottage is clean and a reasonable amount of room for 3 adults and a 15 year old. Clean and tidy kitchen with everything you need including a dishwasher. Please note there is no washing machine. WiFi was included which was ideal. The bedrooms were clean and tidy. For anyone with mobility issues please be aware the stairs are very steep and you must be very careful coming out of the main bedroom as you come out straight on the stairs so you need to be aware. There was parking but the parking bays are very narrow and we did get a couple scratches on our cars which we weren’t very happy about.

Just spent the weekend at the cottage, had an amazing time with my family. Everything you need is in the cottage, nice comfortable beds. Lovely hot showers, Fresh clean towels per person. Only 5 min walk into the town, would highly recommend it.

Lovely little cottage on the outskirts of Ambleside. Nicely decorated, with comfy bed and fully kitted kitchen. Owners have provided board games and leaflets/info of area. Please note it is an old property with very steep stairs and tight doorways upstairs. Tricky for those with mobility issues or small children.

Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.
