The hotel has the friendliest and most helpful staff - especially in the restaurant. The only staff I found a bit annoying were the spa ladies who tried to sell you treatments right when you come out of the main restaurant. The treatment I had was okay but not really worth the money. We had swim-up rooms and unfortunately there were ants in my bathroom which should have been noticed by the cleaning staff. The rooms were okay but you could see tear and wear on the furniture which was a shame. The property with all the plants and trees is amazing. The gardeners do a fantastic job and it is a joy to walk around the property.

Great place for both families and couples

I took my mom out on a lovely summer holiday to Astir and we’d love to be back someday! The rooms were lovely, and so were the pools, the sea water was warm which is quite a change for us. The lunch staff knew our order by heart, and everyone we spoke to provided excellent service, from reception, to the bar staff and buffet waiters, everyone was exceptionally welcoming. The food was pretty good, there’s options for everyone. We did expect there to be more fish on a regular basis, but when they did it was amazing. You’re catered for all meals if you have the all inclusive package which I’d recommend. We were pleasantly surprised with the entertainment, which we didn’t know we’d encounter! The entertainment team kept us going all day, from the water gymnastics class all the way to their shows after dinner, what a treat! They were all super lovely and made the time to speak to everyone they walked past throughout the day. The only not so positive element was the amount of children in general. I purposefully picked a hotel that didn’t seem to cater to babies and children that much but that didn’t seem to stop it being packed with families with young kids, specially around the pool entrances.

The hotel is beautiful, with lovely pools and great restaurants. The beach is nice but can be tricky due to stones. On our first day, it was too windy to swim, but the sea was calm and beautiful for the rest of our stay. Beyond the stones, the water is shallow and safe for kids, with no waves. Strong swimmers can enjoy deeper waters further out. The buffet offers a good variety of food( meat, fish, pasta, pizza, fruits, sweets and ice cream). There were enough chairs at the beach and pools( second week of September). The staff was exceptional—special thanks to Lucy at reception and Anita in the restaurant. I was disappointed by the room(580), as I booked a sea view but got a partial view. After raising the issue, I was offered a room change, but the process was inconvenient. I could change only the next afternoon and was without a room for a few hours). There was no compensation, even though see view is more expensive.However, Lucy’s kindness made it hard to stay upset. I gave 3 stars for location, as there's little to do nearby on foot, and taxis can be difficult, though driving or cycling to town is easy. There is a shower room in case you stay after check out, which is well organized and practical. The staff truly elevated our experience! Well done to all of them and to the management. They are all really customer oriented. The only minus is concerning the sofa-bed. Not comfortable at all - compared with many other sofa-bed from other resorts. I could not upload fotos here

A fantastic resort. Without telling us, front of house gave us a swim up room which was such a pleasant surprise, travelling with 2 boys aged 2 and a half and 8 and a half, it was a great way to break up our day (albeit some hotel stayers felt it appropriate to swim up and down our section, this is no fault of the resort). The food was great, with a huge selection of foods with fresh fish being cooked daily (you choose the fish and they’ll grill it whole!) and a carvery section as well. Plenty of pools to keep you busy, the only downside was there are no slides or a splash area for toddlers. The beach is small, pebbly at parts but has pockets of sand which is great for kids. The kids entertainment every evening got a little repetitive, but the kids seemed to enjoy it. They have an outdoor playground which is a great touch, as well as rock climbing and mini golf which the older one really enjoyed. Overall the resort was clean, the staff were really helpful. Would definitely visit again

The hotel was beautiful and had amazing service. The food was great and gave plenty of options. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. For an all inclusive holiday I literally couldn't guve any faults. The beach was small but nice enough. The sunset view was honesty gorgeous, we watched it evey night at the pool bar which was lovely.

Booked Sea View but Not All Are Sea View Rooms

Booked months in advance a sea view room however our room was a pool view of chaises and umbrellas and clearly should not be in the category of sea view. We also were half board but found the food to be o.k. We only dined 1 out of 7 nights at the hotel and chose restaurants in Kos. For the positives, our room itself was very nice and we were pleased. The bed was comfortable, pillows very good, shower had lots of hot water and did not vary in temperature. A/C worked very well. Wi Fi needs upgrading though.

Très bel hôtel, calme. Pelouses, fleurs grandes allées piétonnes. Énorme piscine principale face à la plage, très agréable. 2 autres piscines plus à l'intérieur du "domaine ". Plage de sable bien aménagée longue, pas très large mais si près de la piscine qu'on peut s'installer sur les transats de la piscine et aller se baigner dans la mer. Nourriture variée et copieuse, poisson frais cuit sur place à la demande. Cours de sport tous les jours, aquagym, spectacles le soir. Les moins 🙁, réservation d'une chambre 50 m2 plus salon. Salon très très petit, le tout ne faisant sûrement pas 50 m2. Nous avons dû demander à changer de chambre car les travaux de la terrasse n'étaient pas terminés, manque de carrelage, morceaux de tubes de fer encastrés dans la pelouse. Heureusement ils nous ont installés dans une chambre de même catégorie mais bien mieux aménagée et située (couple avec 1 bébé et 1 enfant de 3 ans). Personnel à la réception pas sympathique du tout. Les services pour un 5 étoiles ne sont pas à la hauteur. Manque une petite supérette car celle existante est très très petite et n'a pratiquement que des jouets, bouées.... Rien aux alentours de l'hôtel, sans voiture aucun déplacement, promenade, courses possibles. Néanmoins, possibilité de réservation de taxi même s'ils ne sont pas très nombreux sur l'ile. Mais on oublie vite les petits désagréments car séjour tout de même exceptionnel.

Ein gelungener Urlaub in einer super gepflegten u sauberen Anlage! Prachtig hotel, ruime en nette kamers. Het eten is lekker en toch gevarieerd (voor op zijn minst de periode van 1 week). Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Voldoende plaats ook aan de ligbedden.
