The rooms are quite charming, despite the vintage-looking furniture. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff is incredibly helpful. The concierge, in particular, was very friendly and spoke good English. They even helped me get a private taxi to Wuxi.

We had a wonderful stay from 7 to 11 August. The facilities were ideal, especially with the stormy weather, as were the location and breakfast. Mike, the concierge, was extremely helpful providing us with all the help and recommendations we needed! Great and professional service. Would definitely recommend Pullman Central to friends.

10/10 Exceptional

I booked the Club Skyway Studio or whatever it was called. It came with lounge access which was good for the Coke Zeros and also breakfast which was decent. You had Twinnings English breakfast tea bags at breakfast but not in the rooms - having the better tea bags in the rooms would have been nice(r). Otherwise an enjoyable stay. Swimming pool was good. But due to its odd shape ie a circle, subdivision into lanes and lane discipline was a bit odd. Most annoying were the swimmers who insisted on doing complete circuits and cutting off all the other swimmers at the wall. Some 'discipline' and rule enforcement by the lifeguards would have been nice.

First visit to Shamghai

First time to Shanghai, hotel is located near a station which makes moving around the city a littler easier. Concierge service is good especially with a team of friendly and enthusiastic staff members. However, it was difficult to find food in or near the hotel areas, which is rather inconvenient for overseas travellers.

The facilities are a little aged but the service team was doing a great job! There was nothing unexpected.

Air conditioning system in room wasn’t properly cooling down the room. But overall great stay. Close to public transportation and amenities.

6/10 Good

This hotel was a letdown compared to the one we stayed at in Hong Kong. The beds were saggy and uncomfortable and uncomfortable. We were given an accessie room with metal rails throughout the bathroom. The shower was on the side of the tub, and the water pressure was weak. Also the tub was dirty. The hotel was well located. And the cleaning lady was nice. Not good value for money.

Good hotel but had air conditioning issues

Overall good hotel in a great location. However I had AC issues. The staff was great and tried to make it better and also gave me a portable fan but the hotel seems to have AC issues in some other rooms too..

This was my third time but first time after Covid. Room was spacious and quiet, reasonably conditions considering the age. Kettle was very clean which was a surprise. Bed was firm but not too firm. Towels were without detergent smell. In general I am happy with my this 7 nights stay. Where to improve: have a table sign during breakfast so guests and staff know if table is occupied. Gym equipment to be repaired if damaged.

It was very clean, had a luxurious feel, the food was delicious, and the staff were all friendly – simply wonderful. I was able to check in late at night due to my flight schedule, but they kindly accommodated me. Thank you very much. I liked the garden outside the restaurant, but it was under renovation, which was the only disappointment. I look forward to seeing it after the renovations are complete.
