A very efficient check-in with a friendly, English speaking receptionist. The room was very clean and maintained that way on a daily basis. Excellent variety of foods at breakfast with lovely views of the clean beach opposite. An added bonus is that, a tram stop is only about 100 metres away. From there you can easily travel to Alicante or Benidorm with all the stops in between.

We had a wonderful stay at this “Hostal”- actually a hotel - we were in the “ bungalow “ rooms at the back which were pristine-clearly newly renovated- so clean ( the cleaners were amazing) and shower fab- great air-con- big bed- quiet and so close to the terrace with stunning views of the beach. We loved everything about our stay- pool area is great-receptionists lovely and friendly- cafe/restaurant great for breakfast- didn’t have dinner there but food looked great. The whole area of San Juan is beautiful and we will definitely be back at this hotel-it is brilliant value for money and a wonderful place to stay.

Best hostal more like a hotel

The rating is for the hostal itself we did not use the restaurant during our stay. We were very impressed with our accommodation newly built , spacious, super clean, comfortable room. Lovely pool and direct access to tram lines 1 and 3 and over the road to the most beautiful white sandy clean beach .

Staff are so friendly. Especially the reception ladies. Genuinely lovely people. The room was basic, but that’s what I wanted as I wouldn’t be spending much time in there. But the view from my window on to San Juan Beach was stunning!

This hotel was simply too good to be true! I was looking for an safe, clean, affordable place to stay on the beach in El Campello. I was a little confused with the name "Hostal," but it in no way refers to hostel. I had a cute room with bath and a gorgeous view of the Sea. Clean and comfortable. I felt safe. The location cannot be beat for being on the beach. I slept to the sound of the waves. Just cross the street and you are right there. The tram is right there as well. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Food and drink are great. This place is truly a gem. I would definitely come back!
