Stayed at the weekend for a birthday celebration. Reception staff were helpful and discreet in organising flowers to be delivered to room. Room was great and bar and bistro were both full of character and all staff friendly and added to the experience. Will definitely stay again if through in Edinburgh for an occasion.

Simply amazing and Luxurious. I'd had a really cold day, so I was delighted to find that the room had a bathtub. The bed was so comfortable with a soft down comforter and lot's of pillows. The breakfast was very good! The only downside was the coffee.

This hotel was wonderful, staff was incredibly friendly, central location to everything, and I can not recommend this location highly enough. You want to stay here when in Edinburgh.

We were disappointed as hotel was recommended by friends. Had booked over 6 months prior and was put in a tiny room for 5 nights! We didnt complain at the time but they shouldve offered that there were larger rooms at the same rate. Also there were not enough outlets for charging in the room and none by the bed! We complained at the end and the manager apologized and gave a partial refund. But still, this wasn't what we had expected for a very expensive rate booked far in advance. It impacted our visit to Edinburgh.
