Excellent choice in Shanghai

Excellent hotel. The rooms are well equipped, everything brand new. It's located in front of a metro station, line 2. Which makes super convenient as it connects both airports and train station. You can walk to pedestrian road easily. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

An Aparthotel converted from a historic building that is done tastefully. Spacious room with lots of storage space and a washer/dryer. Very obliging and helpful, friendly staff. Only complaint is the aircon which is super strong despite adjusting the temp to 25C, and it still felt like 12C. Hotel is close to malls and underground stations. Very convenient. Hotel nevertheless should provide instruction on how taxis can stop in front of the hotel because itโ€™s not straightforward.

We recently stayed at the Opartment for 2 nights with our adult children and felt welcome. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help despite the language difference. Our 2 bedroom suite was amazing and spotless. The location is a few blocks away from the Raffles City shopping mall and many restaurants. Would highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel, love the balcony and the bed is very comfortable. Staffs were nice and helpful. However, the room cleaning could be improve a lot, the floor with a lot stains was a bit disappointed at such room rate. Itโ€™s within walking distance to the Bund and the shopping district of West Nanjing Road, and surrounded by several mallsโ€”making transportation and access very convenient. The main reason we chose this hotel was to experience the historical charm of the former โ€œFar East Hotel.โ€ It certainly delivered on that front. The only downside is that there isnโ€™t a dedicated breakfast area; instead, breakfast is delivered to the room. The options are quite limitedโ€”mainly bread, orange juice and coffee. That said, ordering food delivery is very convenient, and everything gets sent directly to your room. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable stay filled with character.
