2/10 Poor

The renovated cabin I stayed in had no window screens, the dead bolt did not lock from the inside, and the shower did not have hot water. I cannot recommend staying here.

Wonderful service !!!

The owner was amazing !! The room was comfortable and well taken care of! Def was amazing and felt like home !

6/10 Good

The buildings haven't been renovated since the 1970' s i think. In spite of that it had a kind of charm to it. We spoke to the owner and he plans on upgrading this winter. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There waa a very bright outside light that was on all night. That was the most irritating thing. It was nice to not stay ay a chain motel. It had charm. Had chairs outside the rooms to sit in at night (like Mayberry)! )

8/10 Very good

The room was simple and clean. Kate was super friendly and was always available if we needed anything. We went during off season, so the hotel was updating, and the town had limited dining options. It is less than a mile away from the Wild Center which is walkable, so very convenient.
Lisa, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The property was under renovation and most of the property was in dirty dilapidated condition. DO NOT stay in the front hotel. We rented one of the renovated cabins and it was surprisingly nice. There was no office and we had a hard time checking in.

Dated motel. Had to call for more towels. No cups in the room to use for brushing teeth. Tv didn't work and the bathroom looked like a 4th graded tried to caulk it. Not worth 150 a night .
Dan, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Poor snow cleanup, including walks and drive. No person available at check in or out and no phone number. No remote in room - TV not functioning - lock on door - poor security - left open with nobody around generally facility old and in need of major upgrade price not worth it - would not stay again or recommend

Nightmare

The room didnt look like any of the photos on line. I walked into the bathroom and the shower was discusting. The shower curtain had soap scum on it. There was some kind of goo on the floor of the shower. The water didnt get hot. We paid for 2 nights. There was one face cloth. The office wasnt open. We went to the store and bought a mat to put on the floor of shower. I also purchased some face cloths. I ended up eating the cost of the room, and got another hotel to stay at! To top it off, we moved the pillows and there was ants. I have no regrets on losing the money.

The contractor who runs the place is a nice guy, however I had to find him to check in on arrival. The room was clean and neat, room was large, the bed comfortable.

North trip

No breakfast or coffee, internet works, without it you have nothing, bed was very comfortable, a older style motor lodge

Mountain Getaway

The room and bathroom were spacious. My only suggestion is there should be more than one lamp in the main room. A lamp is especially needed near the dining table.
RICHARD, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was nice. It was a quiet place I was looking for, reasonably priced. It was just outside of town, not downtown, not far from town.
David, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

We got there an hour before check in, keys in room. We did not see anyone on-site at any time. We rented two rooms, Room #1 had newer a/c unit, but very used carpeting and the room had carpenter ants. This place was probably really nice in the 70s or 80s. Room #2 very filthy carpet, A/C unit outdated, barely cooled and noisy and infested with carepenter ants. I contacted owner and he was not sympathetic, and offered a credit for future travels. I explained I would never be there again, too bad, soo sad. No refund or other consideration. I agreed that it was my fault for selecting a budget stay, but this was not what we expected.
DANIEL, 1-night trip

Derek was very accommodating and easy to get along with. Nice quiet room. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of hot water
Cindy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This hotel needs lots of updates. The property manager was not there when we checked in but left the key in the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean but overall it was so dark with one lamp in the room that it felt uninviting. The grounds were unkempt and there was a pool that was closed and looked like it had been closed for years.
Linda, 2-night trip

Pleasant, clean room. Two double beds. Good location - convenient to stores.
John, 3-night trip

We stayed in a delux cabin that has been totally renovated (maybe back to studs then new ceiling, wall, floor, windows and doors and all fixtures). We would stay here again. Could use some hooks since no closet/dresser. Had microwave, fridge, smart TV, and wi-0fi, but no chair/table.

I liked how there was a grill and fire pit, the room was pretty but the bathroom could use a lil love in some corners, but all in all it was a great stay(: and I would recommend (:
