Really good location right near the waterfront and maybe an 8 minute walk from the National Theatre Karl Johan exit on the metro. You can take the express metro from the airport and be there in 20 minutes for a fraction of the cost and time of a taxi. We had a superior room, which was really spacious. King bed, sitting area with couch and armchair, large tv, fridge, coffee/tea setup, large closet space. The only strange thing was the bathroom, which was really small for a room this size, and strange placement of the toilet. It is a wet bathroom, so the shower drain is basically the same level as the rest of the bathroom floor. The hotel is undergoing major renovations. When we got to our initial room, which faced outside, and not the inner atrium, there was a man standing on a scaffold right in front of me. The staff quickly changed our room, but the hotel should make it known that there are renovations going on weekdays beginning very early in the morning. The breakfast was great, major variety, including eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, paté, various breads, herring, pastries, fresh fruit, different types of yogurt, energy shots, a variety of smoothies, etc. Nice way to start the day.
