As a first time single woman in Morocco, this Riad was the perfect one to stay in. Asad gave me a great download of what everyone should know. The information he gave me served me so well throughout my trip. The only area for improvement is the Hammam recommended made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable in pushing us for a tip. Just something to be aware of! :)

We loved this Riad as it was comfortable and quiet with wonderful hosts. Each morning we enjoyed a wonderful Moroccan breakfast, which we chose to eat on the lovely rooftop terrace. The entire staff was extremely helpful and made our stay a real joy. We highly recommend this Riad if you are planning to stay in the Medina.

The riad is in a great location in the Medina of Marrakech. It It is a very nice building from 1600 very clean, well maintained and with a typical decoration. All the people were extremely kind with me during my stay. I would definitely recommend this place! Thanks a lot!!

Truly wonderful experience! The most customer oriented property I’ve ever stayed at. We were made to feel like family immediately. The location is exactly what we were looking for at a traditional riad in the central city deep into the markets and souks. Asad and Abdul are remarkable hosts, the rooms are quite comfortable, the architecture is spectacular, and we were well cared for. I hope to be able to return and would absolutely stay here again!

As a solo traveler I appreciated the hospitality extended to me by Asad who was in communication with me before I even got to Morocco, insuring that all questions were answered. Once there, he was very helpful and provided so much information to help me maneuver and get the most out of my visit to Marrakech. Thanks again also to Abdul who was so very helpful as well. From the day I arrived to the day I left, Asad and Abdul made me feel like I am part of their family rather than a guest. And that made my trip more memorable more than anything else. Location was great. You are basically in the middle of the of Medina yet still have the quietness and privacy that is needed after a full day of market and tours. This may be the best place to stay in Marrakesh. It is in the heart of the Medina. A traditional building that is very welcoming. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make your stay hassle free. They arrange a pickup and drop off to and from the airport (at a very reasonable cost), and help you plan your activities (if you want). Good breakfast (included). The Riad takes you back hundreds of years.

While in Marrakech you want the authentic feel by staying in a Riad. This is clean, cozy and the staff is fantastic. Asad gave us highlights of Morocco and what to see and Abdul went out of his way multiple times (getting up early to make breakfast, walking us to tour meeting etc). The only thing is the location is deep in the shopping area so it’s crowded getting there but the Riad is on a quiet street.

Amazing stay in Riad Al Mamoune. A warm welcome with tea early in the morning. It truly felt like a safe home under the care of Abdul. We had to leave early in the morning a few times and he made sure we had an early breakfast ready for us. Abdul even helped us find some great souvenirs in the souks at affordable prizes. The location is perfect, and Abdul made sure on our first day to direct us so we wouldn’t get lost. We loved our room. It was beautiful and spacious, though be ready for the light to be dimmed. 5/5, would go again!

I had a great stay at the Riad. It is absolutely beautiful with tremendous character. The staff was really great. I received fantastic customer service after my misunderstanding the booking rules. I would not recommend staying out very late. The Riad is tucked away inside the Souk and the walk is dark, deserted and ominous very late at night. I felt safe however walking to the Riad during the day while there is lots of activity in the Souk.

I cannot say enough good things about Riad Al Mamoune! Asad and Abdul took such good care of us. They will organize transportation and excursions for you. We were not familiar with Marrakech and they made us feel very comfortable. Abdul met us at the car on our arrival to walk us through the medina to the riad and Asad walked us to our car to go back to the airport. The breakfast was incredible! The decor was stunning. We were REALLY well taken care of. WHEN we go back to Morocco we will be staying here!

Very friendly staff. Abdul does all he can to make the stay safe and enjoyable. Assisted transport from airport is absolutely recommended, as it is very hard to find your way to the hotel on your own. Alternatively you will need a GPS. Lots of "helping" people adressing you, although they do not neccesarily know the place but are after your money. Troublesome!
